post ejaculation, I pee, then I just FEEL like I have to pee for 15 mins,

I'm a healthy hetero man with clean STD results, age 36.

I noticed that if I urinate shortly after ejaculation, I get this tingling/slight burning sensation in my penis and feel like I have to urinate again. It usually passes in 15-20 minutes and all is well.

It has happened 6 or 7 times after masturbation or sex over the years. Easily fixed, as I adjusted my routine taking note to not pee immediately after cumming, or peeing before sex or masturbation.

Now I'm with a new woman. Sexually the best I've ever experienced and we usually have sex for extended periods of time. And not unusually after a night of drinking (read:full bladder). Which inevitably leads to me having to pee afterward. Not wanting to go to sleep with a full bladder I take a whizz and return to bed. Only to rise again with an overwhelming deisre to pee and go sit on the toilet for 20 minutes occasionally squirting out 1/2 oz shots off pee until the tingling urination urge passes.

I'm assuming it's my plumbing not switching form "ejaculate mode" back to "urine mode" fast enough.

Any comments/advice/facts are welcome.

You figured it out just fine. It is bladder neck spasm which is how you prevent yourself from urination while ejaculating. It takes a spell to relax again. It is not a biggie.
Nobody like you to be blessed with such an efficient mojo as to 'have sex for extended periods". You the man!

I have had the same problem. Try cranberry juice. It has worked for me.

I've had this problem for a long time and it happens every single time after i ejaculate... no solutions to offer though.

Wow. I've got to try the cranberry juice. I've been trying to cut back on the manual pleasure to try to up the frequency with the wife (and I've found the mostly we don't cuz the kids just wear us out - better birth control than the pill *#!@*@#). Anyway, now nearly every night, I'm almost asleep and I get the feeling. Last night it helped me take 2 hours to fall asleep. Glad I finally googled my problem.

I recently begun feeling similar symptoms. During sex or masturbation at the point of ejaculation I find that the ejaculation is accompanied by the slight urge to urinate. It's quite disconcerting.

I don't have a "burning" sensation, but i do feel like a certain itchy type of feeling inside my urethra during and after peeing.

It feels like there may still be a few drops of either cum or urine stuck somewhere along the canal.

Before I went to pee just few minutes ago, I decided to squeeze and see what happed. There was about a drop of white substance that came out but I honestly can't tell whether that was cum or something else.

This same problem has been eating the life away from me. I have never had a complete 8-hour sleep the last 3 years because I always have to get up at night and have the urge to pee. In worst cases this happens 5 times a night after masturbation. But when I abstain from masturbation (say a week, which is very hard), I can sleep for 5 hours without having the urge to pee. Ive been to doctors, did lots of tests including cystoscopy but they found nothing. Im completely healthy. But in fact I feel like i'm dying because I wake up in the morning feeling more exhausted than when I went to bed.

Mine started like all of yours, now it is 24X7. I have an appt with Dr. today... Hope there is a fix.

I'm also in NYC, and I'm going to a doctor tomorrow. I could NEVER deal with this for 6 years... it just started happening a few days ago. I'm a very doctor friendly person, so after 24 hours it didn't go away I made an appointment. I'll post back after we find some diagnosis of some sort.

Yup, seems like masturbation is the problem here. I've been having these same symptoms for the last 4 to 5 years. I have also gotten a white chunky substance that you can see in the toilet afterward, and when it is dry on your underwear it looks chalky. It's usually when I masturbate or after sex. I've been to 2 urologists and they haven't been able to figure out what it is. I've had several tests done and they all come back to say I'm just fine.

I occasionally have the same problem. I've found that if I wrap my testicles in a towel soaked in warm water (not scalding hot, obviously), the feeling goes away. I think it has something to do with relaxing the tense muscles.

Hey folks, I've had this problem since 1994 and I've finally found out I'm not alone!! I've never heard of this happening before so I'm relieved to hear it is normal.
I've recently had a number of tests done by a urologist for a separate, unrelated problem with testicle pain that I've been having for the last year, and they have found nothing wrong.
Interestingly I've never had the problem after sex - only after masturbation - and I've found as long as I don't need to urinate and have not urinated for at least 30 mins before masturbating I don't have the discomfort. I don't always have a problem urinating AFTER masturbation, I find I have a problem if I urinate less than 30 mins BEFORE masturbation - maybe this will be of help to you.

i have the same thing. i peed right before i masturbated, and now im paying for it now. it burns and feels like i have to pee, but only drips are coming out. its quite annoying. but im glad i found out what the problem is!

So basically it all boils down to one thing--the prostate (that semen factory) becomes exhausted and swells. This pushes on to the bladder leading to the urge to pee after ejaculation. I have been to almost all the possible tests and the doctors also found nothing wrong with me.

Cranberry Juice: This is only good if there is an infection. Of course drinking lots of juice and water is also recommended.

Yep that's what my doctor said as well. Not that I shouldn't can't masturbate, just to be easy on myself. It sounds comical, and indeed it was. He said that I essentially jerk off too hard, and that I hurt/ bruised my urethra. He said abstain from sexual activity for about a week, then things should be good.
