Greg Stillwater, OK	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Mar 27, 2011 Any techs out there that do Sphincter of Oddie scans and process using an Xeleris2 or 3 workstation from GE? Just upgraded my department from a 19yo ADAC Vertex with a Pegasys Ultra and can't figure out to process scan. GE apps have never heard of scan and can't help me, argh!!! Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks

Tibor G Villa Park, IL	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Dec 28, 2011 There is no particular scintigraphy for Spinchter of Oddi imaging. If anything , this must be related to the ejection fraction calculation of the Gall Bladder in a HIDA -scan using Tc-Choletec ( Mebrofenin)
Tibor G Villa Park, IL	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #4 Dec 28, 2011 The Spinchter of Oddi relaxation or contraction is strongly related to the biological function of the gall-bladder which can also be controlled either by using IV infused (slow drip) CCK or Morphine as a diagnostic aid for acute cholecystitis.
