I am very sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were wanting us to do that practice here! If you want it done in Brazil, and they are more than willing to do it,fine, each their own. I'm perfectly o.k. with anything that is legal, and in each persons mind they feel it is ethical. I thought people were asking if it should be done HERE, and I say NO. But in China, Germany, Canada, wherever laws are more lax, go for it. Prostitution is legal in so many other countries too. Sex to me, and the sexual organs are included in that catagory, are way too personal and private for me to be touching them, even in a 'compassionate and caring' way.

Look we arent evolving we are devolving into our orimitive monkey mind. Sex is an act of reproduction and exchange of energy between two mutually involved. It doesnt mean you should goaround making yourself one with every tom dick and harry. I wish people didnt mistake ethic and morlas for close mindedness. We all have the ability to rationalize its what gives pedaphiles and murderers the ability to justify their choice in lifestyle. There is no point in arguing as its nature for human beings to defend there actions. The truth is let them do whatever they want its between them and their creator. After all we were given free will therefore noone has the right to call anyone close minded or horny bastards. They have the right to agree to disagree.

Vry good point. I gove yoni massage, but have to give a full lesson to my client before we even meet to make sure she understand what she can experience, and that I'm not going to have sex with her.

I think first you should have to learn to spell before you have the right to criticize someone else...just saying...

I've read a number of postings and from that gained the impression that LMT likes to hear itself talk, angrily and judgementally, so to speak. However, being a gentleman, I could not say that as a fact, merely as an observation. But, I do feel that I can say with complete confidence that 'it' has no well developed sense of cultural competency, conversational ethics or social prudence. simplyspeaking wrote: <quoted text>...I'm sure that LMT has had there erogenous zones removed or are non existent hence the jealousy to personal satisfaction.....

You'd better call your physician. You've had a hardon for me for more than 4 weeks!

My late husband and I enjoyed a few retreats later in life, sadly. Wish we had learned about it long before we did. Like most, we were skeptical at first but friends encouraged us to proceed with the experiences. If you and your loved one have not been to one, I recommend it. The guides will not change your whole life if its in the clinker or if you are a miserable person, but they will bring the two of you closer together and make love and life more fulfilling for both.

@ Dr. G
First, let me at least commend you for your tolerant, reasoned tone. Still, I think that the responses from LMT and others might have given you an answer, although it may not have been as specific or useful as you would have liked.
I'm not sure that I can offer my opinion on the legitimacy of tantric/lingam massage—I haven't experienced it.
As for its legality, I have trouble seeing how it might be legalized as long as prostitution is illegal. Now, I personally feel that prostitution is not wrong in-itself, however I do believe that it should remain illegal in the United States. Just as I believe that speeding isn't wrong in-itself, I accept that a speed limit (among other things) helps to keep streets safer, just as a ban on prostitution helps to prevent abusive and dehumanizing treatment of women. So, that said, given the history and current status of massage parlors in the United States, I have trouble seeing how tantric/lingam massage could be legalized without many who would use the law to establish brothels under the guise of what is effectively legal genital massage.
Perhaps a better solution would be to establish some sort of a service that might instruct couples on the art of tantric massage. Surely these already have to exist?
Granted, that doesn't really help those who aren't in a relationship with a like-minded partner, but perhaps this kind of massage might be best left to like minded partners for the time being. Indeed, if I were a tantric massage enthusiast, I might prefer that it not be commercialized right now. There would surely be so many quasi-brothels operating under the guise of tantric massage services that the general public might fail to ever take seriously the therapeutic quality that you describe.

Sorry, should have read my above comment before posting. Third sentence, third paragraph should read, "Similarly, I believe that speeding isn't wrong in-itself, yet I accept that we should have speed limits. Just as speed limits help to keep streets safe, bans on prostitution help to prevent abusive and dehumanizing treatment of women."

I'm curious why YOUR choice not to do this has anything to do with MY choice whether or not to do this. It kind of reminds me of people who think that gays marrying each other somehow violates their marriages. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Relaxing the laws isn't going to change your boundaries, nor should it. Why do you have a problem with what I do, or want to do?
