Was reading some posts that some men get erections during massage. Well do women get aroused at all during massage?

Usually I just feel very relaxed and slipping into a deep sleep, but sometimes, when the MT massages my thighs or lower back I have gotten aroused. It doesn't help that the MT is very cute.

I just had a massage by an adorable, sweet younger guy. First time with him. I could feel myself getting aroused because it was so sensual and felt so good. I was ridiculously damp down there afterward and felt very ashamed and guilty b/c I'm married. I've received massages from other men and I don't think I had the same response but can't know for sure since I didn't touch myself.

Katy, every word you said is true. When the massage is with a sweet adorable guy it does feel very sensual and very good, it is like a window into your soul. Sometimes I can almost feel his hands all over my body when I am lying in bed and feel a deep craving for his touch, like a drug, mor than anything else. But yes, like you I have often felt the guilt since I am married but then I realize the reason we feel this way is partly because of transference (you can look this up on the internet) and the feeling of being cared for and touched tenderly is a deep need for women, almost more than sex.

I admit I get aroused during the massage, very aroused. It doesnt matter if its a male or female, but most recently the female LMT I have been going to has me near crazy by the time she is done. I have gone as far as masterbating in the room afer she leaves before I change. I am married and have never cheated on my husband, but I think I would let her massage me there. I know she knows I am wet because you can see it on me and on the table when I turn over. I know this is wrong but I have to be honest. I actually think she brushes up aganst me because she knows. If feels good to get that off my chest. Anyone else ever felt this way or is it just me?

Why shouldn't women be aroused by touch? It's not the exclusive domain of the male, now is it? When I've massaged women, they usually move their buttocks or give a little wiggle or sigh in such a way I perceive they are aroused. And that's without any particularly intimate touching. So the more intimate the area massaged, the more aroused they become...only natural.

To me, receiving a massage is the most selfish form of pure pampering and pleasure. Of course I get aroused. Alison, you're not alone there.

Women definately get aroused during massage. If anything, they're worse than the boys. I practice in NYC and have for years and there are "non intimate" signs of female arousal all over the place. List: 1) Backs of the thighs and lower back get very hot, particularly the second thigh. I assume the work on the first one gets the blood moving. For awhile I thought the extra blood flow to the "seat" area might have been from sitting before the session on the spa chairs. However, I take almost a half hour on the back before the legs, more than enough time for blood to redistribute. And why is the first one cool....and the second one burning hot? YOU know why... 2) Working on the back of the neck, resperation INCREASES, not decreases. Same with the backs of the knees. 3) If a woman is particularly excited you can see her pulse beating through the sheet/towel when supine around the top of the abs, right below the ribs. 4) Touching/playing with your own hair for a minute or so after rolling over. 5) And to a man who's paying attention, you ladies have no secrets when getting your neck worked on. None.:) Now, how does a woman ask for a happy ending (which I don't provide. Sorry ladies :)? She says that the upper thigh area and her pecs are sore. Occasionally they'll go "all guy" and bring up their inner thighs. I think they all think they're being original when they say it, not knowing I hear it (usually with some combination of the above listed items) about twice a month. It's always when they realize the time's almost up, at the end. We are all just human. Male, female, it makes no difference as no one sex has more of a claim on loving being touched. And when you show up in the office of a therapist who loves TO touch, it's a good match. Just keep it clean :) And after a session with all of the above, I go home and give my wife a rubdown...with the best Happy Ending you could imagine. Cheers!

Thanks everyone for all the feedback. I would never take my practice that way, but have been curious about this for awhile.

In NYC I would suggest Jason at Qi Gong on 9th Ave between 55th and 56th street. Totally unlicensed and better than anyone licensed I have ever been to. :)

I just discovered this thread after posting to another massage topic. As an LMT, with an almost exclusive female practice, I think these threads are pretty interesting. Mostly, it's men who have the "sex questions" about massage. From my experience, I doubt that most women become aroused from a therapeutic massage, but there's no doubt that many of my clients have been affected by a "relaxation" massage. For most of my clients, I usually massaged "everything" except the breasts and the genitals. That naturally puts my hands in close proximity to those spots. Women appreciate the low lighting, soft music, aromatherapy and warm table as part of the experience. A caring touch from an experienced therapist is bound to produce a response. I read that some of these posters like the fact that their attractive therapist has turned them on. I'm over 60, and only practice on friends and former clients now, and I assure you that age and good looks are certainly not a requirement for a female client to become noticeably affected. All the signs mentioned above are clues. For my part, I've never acted on them, and doubt that my clients would appreciate it if I did, but I certainly don't mind seeing those responses. Just my two cents' worth.

Well I have been going to a male MT for a couple years now, and during my massage he massaged down the side of my spine all the way to my lower back. But this made me very sexually aroused every time he did this...I asked him why it is that it makes me aroused and he said it was because I was attracted to him. Then he kept massaging down the side of my spine..gees! I felt so aroused...couldn't help breathing hard and moaning. Then he kept doing it over and over again until I thought I would go crazy.
Is there some physical reason why massaging in this area makes you aroused?

I can't think of any reason why massage of the C and T areas of the spinal muscles would cause this sensation. The lumbar area of the spine is an area rich in peripheral nerves many of which pass through the pelvic girdle (ischium & pubis areas). Perhaps massage of the lumbar spine area is referring sensations through these nerves into your pelvic region. That's only my guess, what do others think??

As Paul indicated, that area is rich in sensory nerves and, depending on the type stroke he's using, it could easily be reminiscent of foreplay. What amazes me is that, after she indicated that it caused the reaction, her therapist continued to stimulate her lower back. In any case, when one is receiving a treatment, keep things in perspective. You're paying this guy (or gal). It's YOUR massage. If something makes you uncomfortable, speak up. In this case, she did, and a respectful therapist would not have continued with the unsettling behavior. I'm certainly no prude, and I've seen reactions on the part of my female clients many times, but I don't play to them. I'd much rather see that person on my table again than to irritate her just to see her reaction.

I wasn't so much irritated or uncomfortable as I was very sexually aroused....kind of embarassing because it was so obvious. I could not hide it with my breathing hard. Now I know how some of the guys who get massages feel. I think he was playing with me though because he said that I was sooo hot before he began repeatedly massaging down the side of my spine.

I have been DYING for my MT to take it further. He once finally did something I really enjoyed, but the next 5 times I've seen him he's acted like it never happened.:( I am so aroused by this man's hands, that when he goes near my thighs I immediately get wet, at first I was embarrassed but after a few sessions I just go with it and moan all I need to. The one time he really touched me was amazing though. He massaged and stroked my breasts, brushed his fingers down my little slit, and in the end he sucked (quickly) on my nipples before he exited the room. I thought I'd gone to heaven! Unfortunately, he has never touched me like that again. i give all the signals, open my legs, bring up my ass for him, etc...I wonder if he thinks I'm a cop or something and not just a horny housewife???? Honestly, I know it's wrong, but I keep hoping he takes me to orgasm each time I see him.
