Therapeutic Massage and Ejaculation

I recently had a threapeutic massage. The female massage therapist was massageing my back upper thighs and butt. While she was doing this, I had an ejaculation. Is this commom in any way?? I was semi erect at the time but not really aroused in any way?? Is the back upper thigh an area that can cause this??? Can any one help me out on this?? I am a bit embarrased!

I don't think that your experience is that common, but I don't see why you should be ashamed of it. Many men leak a little semen when they are just starting to get aroused, and you may have just had that happen. You don't mention your age; I believe this more common among younger men.

As to whether the back upper thigh is especially sensual, that depends on the individual and how she was doing the massage. Many therapists avoid massaging men high on the inside thigh because they don't want to increase the sensuality of the massage. You didn't say whether your partial erection was pointed up or down, but obviously when pointed downward the penis becomes quite prominent between the upper thighs, another reason many therapists avoid working the area. Massage of the area between the anus and scrotum is very arousing for many men, and can also pressure the prostate, which could cause ejaculation.

If you don't want this to recur, you can a) try a different therapist b) wear underpants or a swim suit or c) masturbate before going to your session.

But either way, what happened is nothing to be embarrased about.

Thanks for your comments! Are you a massage therapist? I did not just leak a little semen, I had a full blown ejaculation. She had me very relaxed at the time and I was very stressed before I went in. I am 32 yrs old and happily married so that is why I felt a bit embarrased. Not sure if I should ever go back to that same mt or just try a new place? Neither of us aknowledged what had happend so she must have found out when she changed her sheets. If any one else has comments on this I would appreciate it!

No, I'm no massage therapist, although my wife says she loves the backrubs I give her. I have tried many types of massage, in many countries, over 20 years.

As to whether to go back, I certainly wouldn't expect her to scold you for having left semen on her sheets, and I very much doubt she inspects them carefully before tossing them in the laundry. It does sound like what this MT does excites you a little; that may diminish in subsequent visits, or it may not. The bottom is line is whether the experience leaves you feeling well physically and mentally.

Communication is rarely a bad thing, if it's respectful and honest. You could just tell her that work on your buttocks and thighs excited you, and that if that bothers her that she should avoid working there. Or if it bothers you that you're excited, you can just tell her that, and I'm sure she'll be happy to avoid that area.

Finally, remember that ejaculation is not bad for you. Some people say you should do it daily. If at happens when you're face down and without your genitals visible, I don't see any harm.

I just wanted to comment on your massage session. I am a female MT student and Im just finishing up with the program. It is totally normal for that to happen and it doesnt mean the therapist turned you on or you did anything wrong, but I could understand you might be embarrassed. If the therapist is professional, I would not think twice about going back to her.. it is part of the relaxation process and it doesnt mean it will always happen when you get a massage.

Once during amassage by an very pretty female therapist, I became very aroused while she was massaging my buttocks area with the towel off of me, and laying there naked. I was laying on the erection, and the movement she was doing during some strokes had me rocking on it, and as much as I tried to fight it, I ejaculated.

I do have to say that as being new to MT... I am not looking forward to the day when I have a client and that happens. I am a good looking blonde therapist, and Im 38 and I take great care of myself and people think Im in my 20's... I do get comments from some men about massage, but I hope the negative rapport it has sexually goes away and people look at it for how it really helps your body physically. I don't think it happens all the time when men get massages, but working on the buttock region could do that.

I wouldn't worry about too much if I were you. I had severalmassagesbefore that one, and some with very pretty therapists as well, but it didn't happen then. It may have been that I hadn't had sexual relations for an extreme amount of time before that appointment.

Besides that, if it did happen, the guy wouldbemoreembarrassed than you, and likely try not to say anything or to let you know, as I did. After she left the room for me to get dressed, I gotup and wiped myself off with a towel and wiped the sheet too, then covered the area of the sheet with another sheet.

Actually the exact same thing happened to me--twice!

I am now 40, but the first time it happened I was 16, and a virgin. I would like to chalk it up to youth and inexperience, but I honestly think the same thing could happen today. I also don't think it matters if the massage therapist is a man or woman, young, old or "hot." In my case, the ejaculation was brought on by a male rolfer, and I was definitely not the least bit attracted to him--and I am not/was not gay. This really seemed more like a physiological mandate.

The reason I think that is because the ejaculation occurred both times when the therapist massaged the same precise location--the back side of my right thigh, about half way up. Prior to reaching that part of my body, everything was fine. It wasn't like I was being slowly aroused and finally peaked...more like I wasn't even semi-hard, but then all of a sudden within a few seconds I had a total involuntary ejaculation. It really freaked me out, I was embarrassed and humiliated--the first person to ever bring me to orgasm was a strange rolfer man...very disturbing.

I did have underwear on, but he asked me to flip over onto my backside, and I have a feeling be could probably see some wetness. But, more than that, the guy was really in tune with the human body, and it is kind of hard to hide an orgasm. I was silent, but I am sure my body tensed up and my heart raced faster.

Anyway, I returned to him a year later because I was in a car accident, and because I felt that since I had by then lost my virginity it wouldn't be a problem...well it was. It was the exact same experience--the backside of my right thigh, like a light switch. In some ways the second time was worse that the first, because it affirmed that it wasn't just a freak accident, but that this man was actually bringing me to orgasm. I did not say a thing either time, too embarrassed and too difficult to have a conversation about such private experiences at that age.

However, I actually went back just a couple of days later--I think because I was determined to conquer this problem and prove to myself that I had some self-control. To my surprise, he had me place a small pillow under my hips when I laid on my stomach, and sure enough, when he got to my "trigger-spot" there were no explosions! What a relief...so you might consider bringing along a small pillow next time.

I wish I had the nerve back then to have discussed the situation with the rolfer, because I would like to know if there is any explanation for this "trigger spot."

Lastly, I have told this story to a few girlfriends over the years, and understandably they were intrigued and tried to massage the back of my leg to orgasm--but there has never been a similar result. I really think that it took skilled hands of a rolfer (or masseuse--I don't really know the difference) to provide such a very deep massage--the type where one can only feel the burning and pressure, I couldn't even discern if he was using his fingers or not--

So thanks for posting. I have always been curious if others have had a similar experience.

I have had a similar experience before with a female mt. I was so relaxed that I was nearly asleep, lying on my stomach, not aroused at all, and when she deeply massaged my lower back near the butt, I had an involuntary ejaculation.
I have been back several times, and had it happen twice. Now I wear a condom just in case.
I would love to hear from an MT how you think this could be brought up in discussion with you.

Lying on my stomach, totally relaxed, not sexually excited in any way and when the female therapist reached the upper part of my rt thigh, bam. she was finished a short time later and handed me a towel stating sometimes she uses too much oil but I think she knew due to my body tensing to try to stop the orgasm. She was very professional but I was embarassed. I've had her again and she avoids the area and doesn't say a word about it.

Can we get a MT to comment on this?? Seems to me all of us describe the upper right thigh??? Is there a trigger there or something?? Help out some guys we feel embarrased to maybe feel a bit at ease!

I am a female MT. I will not say to not feel a certain way, nonetheless, it is very common to do as you have mentioned, and feel as you did.

I have had this happen to me several times. It is true, if your therapist is a pro you have nothing to worry about, but try to remember that we can't read your mind... so when you come back to see the therapist(if ever) let them know how you felt, we are very understanding!

As to the question of there being a trigger on the upper thigh...

I don't honestly know for sure; however the sciatic nerve and penial nerve do intertwine which is in the buttock region, could be a possibility.

In any case, try not to get a "relaxing" massage or swedish next time. Get a combination of a heavier pressured swedish or deep tissue until you get over the "weird" feeling of ejaculation possibilities.

I've had this experience numerous times and thought there was something wrong with me or to be ashamed about. I have chronic low back problems and have had several times when I have "spontaneously ejaculate" while having certain areas worked on. Definitely the back inside of the thigs and hamstrings, my hip flexors and even my calves.

It is definitely not sexual but it is completely embarassing and has caused me to avoid massage therapy.

Any advice from a MT?
