Simply wondering if women have experienced orgasm during a massage?

Yes, I had a massage and when the male therapist did this thing where he put his hand in the small of my back and went around in circles (so my whole body moved around, and his hand didn't slide around on my back--in other words, his hand and my back both moved together) I started to feel intensely pleasurable contractions deep in my belly and also that almost unbearable tickly feeling in my genitals. I was terrified I would start jerking my body on the table and he would know it, but it didn't come to that. He may have known, anyway. I've always wondered since then if that is a massage maneuver that is known to cause orgasms. I haven't had a massage in about 13 years, and thinking about this makes me want to schedule an appointment :-)

The technique of circling the sacrum anti-clockwise with flat hands is commonly used to release tension in the lower back, but not with such heavy pressure. Firm pressure on the pairs of foramina is used to relieve sacral tension and in theory improve the flow of energy to the small intestines, bladder and sexual organs. The procedure that you experienced with the rolling movement of your body initiated at the sacrum probably compressed and released the mons thereby creating the stimulating effect.

Yes and in my case it is because I have several apparent "trigger" points on my body, discovered when I first began massage therapy. A connundrum for my male massage therapist. why do male massage therapists have a problem with this normal phenomenon? Anyway, I solved the "problem" by inserting a well lubricated, extra large tampax,or two smaller tampaxes (tampaxi?) which was just uncomfortable enough to not allow the normal course of nerve events to occur - pleasurable massage without an end result.(I discovered this when I had my period and Massage therapy at the same time and suddenly the solution to my problem materialized. Gate control theory of pain/pleasure in action. Pass this information onto other "sensitive" clients - I obviously don't know if it would work for everyone, but it's worth a try.

I think that sounds more painful than pleasurable, which defeats the purpose of the whole massage. I don't see anything wrong with having an orgasm during massage therapy, unless your male therapist has a problem with it. I have discovered that I have a trigger spot too in my lower back along my spine and it causes an extreme sexual arousal but no orgasm. It's a bit embarrasing too but being a female its easy to hide arousal unless I get the sheets wet, which I am afraid of doing sometimes. But I warned him that I might and he seemed ok with it. He has probably seen it all to tell you the truth, I don't think he really cares either way. He says clients drool, sleep, etc. all the time

I have a question for male massage therapist--how do you feel about the female client becoming aroused? Does this make you uncomfortable? Or is it something that you feel is just a normal occurence and you have "seen it all?"

Personally, I am not at all uncomfortable if a female client becomes aroused, it means that they are relaxed enough to fully enjoy the massage, and really is more of an honour than an embarrassment. As stated elsewhere, many women do hide any arousal quite well although it is nothing to be ashamed of at all. I am always pleased if a client is happy with her massage, so never just dismiss it as "seen it all before" - each client is special.

Very professional but I became excited when she did my inner thighs. Each time she reached the groin area I was more and more aroused. She very gently and briefly touched my genitals as she slid up my thigh - not sure if this was intentional but I pretended not to notice. Maybe she knew the effect she was having. I could have controlled myself, but decided to let myself go as I'm a closet exhibitionist. I was aching for her to keep touching me. When she briefly left the room I pulled me lips Part to make my clit more prominent. She probably noticed - even though I had knickers on. eventually ripples began around my vulva and I had a very restrained but excited and fantastic orgasm. I consider it my first and only lesbian act - even if she didn't know. I still fantasise about it. Been searching for similar story to arouse me while I masturbate, but no luck, so I thought if I reply to your post I can read it back and enjoy the memory. I sometimes imagine a man watching while she takes advantage of me, agInst my will. I hope it was intentional. I'd love to re-live it....

I actually prefer when people express what they feel openly instead of suppressing it because it’s supposed to be “embarrassing”. Every now and then I have a female client who softly moans during the massage or starts breathing rapidly or has goose bumps going on the back. These signs tell me they are enjoying the massage and may be even somewhat aroused. Sometimes a female client would even give me a more unambiguous sign like spreading her legs a little wider non-verbally letting me know that it’s ok to massage her inner thighs more thoroughly because it feels good. Why would it be uncomfortable for me? As a matter of fact if that happens it means my client is definitely comfortable on my table which makes me also comfortable working on her. And they come back often and it’s a win-win situation.

I got quite aroused just visualizing your story... Thanks, I am at work. ;-) Hel wrote: <quoted text> Yes. I had a full body massage by an attractive young lady in Slovenia. Sexual energy is the best way I can encourage self healing .. look up tantric energy healing. As much as I have wanted too.. I don't have sex with clients. I want to keep my license and keep helping to people.

Yes, more than once. My therapist is fine with it. We're good friends.

I am a male massage therapist... I am professional at all times, and accept that anything can happen in the setting, including arousal. I think it can be a natural reaction, and as long as the woman is not making noise (which other clients would hear through our paper thin walls) I don't mind.
But it is not my goal to arouse, I think if you are going to do that, then make sure that is stated openly in your business practices. Because, otherwise, you may molest someone that doesn't want it.

I have become sexually aroused during a few massage sessions and quietly and with no fanfare reached several orgasms. Always with the same male therapist. I believe in my case it was more of an emotional response as well as a sexual response. This happened both times when my shoulder area was being worked on. I do suffer from quite bad muscle spasm from extreme stress and tension so the release of that along with my admiration of the person who relieves that stress was a powerful combination for me. Unfortunately it also messed with my head so I quit seeing him. After reading these posts though, maybe I'll have to get over it and go back!

This first happened to me a few years back. I have a high tolerance for pain, so I usually get a deep tissue massage with lots of trigger point pressure on my back. I have one particular spot on my back where I'm getting a bump or hump on my mid spine area and my massage therapist, a woman, would use an elongated stone type object on my back and press down on it extremely hard. At first I felt intense burning pain on that area, then I could feel the orgasm coming. That really freaked me out and I never told the therapist or anyone for that matter. Since then it still happens sometimes, but it happens only with this same style of intense pressure. Glad to hear I'm not the only one out there.

Interesting and you are not the only one who experienced this. I have a regular client who likes (and needs) deep cervical work for a whiplash injury that happened a few years ago that was never treated initially. Anyway, she sometimes experiences what I think is an orgasm when I work deeply and slowly on her neck. One time she opened her eyes widely, her whole body tensed up a little and she gasped "Oh, my god". I asked if she was o.k and she said something like: "That felt unbelievably good". I think she had an orgasm but I obviously never asked her and she never commented on what exactly she felt...

I had a massage during an emotionally difficult time, at a very reputable spa. I almost requested a different therapist because her technique is usually to deep and rough for me. However, it really worked this time. She started on my front side, using long rhythmic strokes. When she got to my left upper thigh...her strokes lengthened, became more vigorous, rapid and never broke a very intense rhythm. Her strokes began working their way down the upper inside of my left leg, never touching my genitals, but...definately "influencing" them. When I do climax, it is very intense, maybe more than normal. I spent quite a few minutes lingering there while I tried to control it before I finally went over the edge. I don't think she could have missed it, I was trembling, breathing slightly rapidly...etc. We never said a word, but once I "finished" she moved on to other things. When she worked on my back side, she was standing at my head, using long strokes, massaged from my shoulders down my back, under my underwear grasped my buttocks in both hands and squeezed/massaged, pulling my buttocks apart. I have never had anyone grab me like that. I'm still not sure if it was a massage....or a date. I was exhausted. I have had massages before and after that experience, none have quite measured up to that one. Again, I am not sure what that was...other than "different"...and pleasurable, I think.

I had an orgasm during my massage last week. This is how I found this thread. I googled if anybody had a similar experience because I was like "wow!" The massage therapist worked around my knees and I started feeling a little hot all over and told him about it and asked to remove the blanket which he did. At first I thought I had a hot flash or something (which I never had before). But then I realized that this is the massage of my legs that made me feel aroused. I felt a little uncomfortable at the thought that he could notice this and tried just to relax but when he continued to my upper thighs I was already a little wet. I moved my leg a little and he had to readjusted the sheet and it brushed against my vagina which sent a shiver down my spine. Involuntarily I started breathing deeper and tensed my buttocks. He moved to the other leg and if felt the same, I was already fully aroused and wet. Shortly I climaxed and felt embarrassed that he noticed everything but he did not show it. The rest of the massage was very relaxing as usual. I did not know what to make of it and googled if somebody experienced the same too. I did not want it to happen at all but it just happened. I liked it but I'm embarrassed and do not know if my MT (he is really good) thinks now that I'm weird. I'd like to continue seeing him. Should I address it with him about what happened or just say nothing?
