I get therapeutic massage done about once a month and it relaxes me completely. In that relaxed state, I often get aroused. Can you tell me if most men feel this way and if so, do men often masturbate after a massage after the therapist has left the room? I have yet to do this but have been tempted to relieve this arousal right there and then....

I do, but I can't get an erection thou. I can still relieve my self. But I just can't "wake up enough" to get an erection. But It's Incredible to get that little extra relaxation after a wonderful massage.

This happens all the time. Obviously, the polite thing to do is use tissues or something so you don't leave a mess behind!!

OK, this may be true (peer-reviewed research data please) but this thread is about masturbation in the massage room, either by the masseuse or by the client with the masseuse's approval. This is as wrong as masturbation in a movie theater because you think that the gal on the screen is hot. There's a time and a place for masturbation, and it's NOT in a place where clients expect sanitary conditions and professional ethics.

AMEN!! Do you think a LMT would let their client masterbate in their room? Not a professional one anyway, Massage Therapy is now being controlled and massage parlors like your are being shut down!!

You should see some of Nausicaa's threads on the Human Sexuality forum. She thinks she's some kind of sex therapist, so this goes along with her encouraging masturbation in her "massage" room. Hookers are hookers, and LMTs are LMTs.

And you are saying this from what throne of knowledge? Or did you just make that crap up?

Relieving yourself after a session (in the massage room!) is inappropriate. I'm a licensed massage therapist and would never be comfortable with this. What you do outside of my room (in your house), is your business- that's not mine. Using a massage to get yourself aroused is unbelievably wrong.

A real therapeutic massage is not foreplay and is not meant to be received as sexual. Getting an errection is a normal physiological response for some, sometimes and that's ok and ignored if noticed.

If your goal is to be turned on and be relieved, have someone rub you down in bed/your own home.

Massage therapy is used for health, physically and mentally/emotionally. Please don't damage our profession further. That goes out to "massage therapists" who give happy endings and lend a towel to "clients" to jack off in, and also goes out to those using a therapeutic massage for sexual recreation.

I don't want to hear one more person ask If I give "happy endings"- maybe you all should stop asking that.

I went to school and have to retain knowledge on all sorts of conditions, re-learn various anatomy and physiology to help people. Our goal is to help our clients in a safe, accepting, non-judgmental environment. Give Licensed Massage Therapists some respect.

Also realize what crap it is that I am a professional massage therapist making peanuts compared to these "massage therapist" hookers.

I agree. If you do find yourself aroused due to a massage in the very least take it to the bathroom...don't taint the massage room. Professional, licensed massage therapists realize that erections may happen and you could very well be sexually aroused due to how your nervous system has specifically responded to the massage, but please, not in our room. Wait till you have gotten to a place more appropriate for that.

If you masturbate in a massage room, then the smell lingers and is unfair to the next client. The same goes for perfumes, aftershave, or any other odor. It also unbalances the energy of the room.

When I get so aroused & erect, I usaullly have the need to masturbate to relieve extra stress. When the massage is complete, but I need to relieve extra stress in the room, will the massage therapist get mad at me if she saw me masturbating in front of her after the massage was complete?
