This article says that Jonathan Abrams took a bottle of homeopathic medicine indicated for use in treating his sore throat and that it made his throat worse.

If, as "skeptics" claim, homeopathy is "just water" or "there's nothing in it", how could it have made his sore throat worse?

This article states that Gem Newman claims homeopathics are unproven. How could that be considering that there are 100's of studies proving homeopathic efficacy?

This is a dangerous stunt. Children, not knowing the difference between homeopathics and conventional over-the-counter or prescription drugs could see this and decide to imitate it by taking a bottle of conventional medicine and be seriously harmed.

You can keep writing your anti-science propaganda until you're blue in the face. It doesn't change the fact that homeopathy makes absolutely no sense. You're going to cure a spider bite with more spider toxin, right? After you dilute it to the point that there's no more toxin left, of course. Geeze, go back primary school science.

This one will knock your socks off -- google-magic magee healing device

Nutrition is the aftermath of the digestive system and is the spirit of what was eaten.
Homeopathy by passes the digestive system!
----------

Oxygen is the main ingredient of bubbles in your spittle, the foam of rough water, the fizzies in your pop, yes lets mention pop. Coca-Cola was not brought to the world as a soft drink but was introduced as a medication. Unbeknownst to them this is the reason why.

Was in with my wife when she had our child and she figured I needed the Oxygen more than her so had a chance to experience the high of pure Oxygen. This was introduce to my body through the lungs, the Oxygen of a soft drink or beer is introduced to the body by the digestive system. Now think about this for a minute;

What if we just by passed the lungs and stomach (the drug addicts do) Well the pop companies are not going to stand for that and will influence the Govt liquor board to initiate another law. In the mean time, injection sites in the schools might be something to think about!

Hey don't laugh, have you ever added pop, nicotine, beer directly to the blood and as you think about what's in that flue shot, you can quit your sneering.

John Willis Lloyd has posted what he claims may be the IP address of another person (possibly Dr. Nancy Malik) to the site "I Speak of Dreams". This site, which professes to be passionate about effective parenting, posted a blog about "over-dosing" on a homeopathic remedy titled "I survived a massive dose of Coffea Cruda 30C".

It is not legal (at least in the US) to post other people's IP addresses to the public.

This stunt could tempt children to imitate it by taking bottles of conventional OTC or prescription drugs causing themselves serious harm.

This comment is posted to the "I survived a massive dose....." article:

"I predict you will receive a visit from an advocate of homeopathy. SHE will leave a comment from an IP address in India and it may be ------. She has already visited your site before.

Homeopathy (and lots of alternative medicine) is a typical example of a religion. They have a founder and a holy book (Organon and Church fathers (Kent, for example) and rituals (succussing and diluting) and they are split up in many sects and they have fanatical adherents and they are immune to facts and they keep talking about invisible forces and ‘treating the whole person’ and they have dietary laws too. Any person who wants to become a member first has to do a kind of confession (an anamnesis taking more than an hour with question about sleeping habits and whether one is afraid of thunderstorms). Never mind that they have no official opinion about afterlife, monks, nuns, and mysticism or a hierarchically organised church. They have enough opinions about ‘evil’(Big Pharma, Vaccination) and life after vaccination and salvation through the one and true homeopathy. And of course devils, except they call them allopaths.

There are actually several Hahnemannic religions: classical homeopaths, clinical homeopaths, complex homeopaths (‘mixers’), and a whole school of adherents who believe in frequency treatment, with offshoots like electroacupuncture according Voll. Then there are the isopaths too.

you won't heal just by taking some homeopathic medicines...those are supplements and have doses and you have to take them for a period of time....not a bottle in a day thats insane and dangerous!... people
M.Ds and the pharma corporations are scared of how many are healing....I my self just dim feeling so much better...i highly recommended to do a little research on adrea moritz and the liver flush..

My testimonial is that alternative healing does work better and with no negative consecuences...but one bottle...lol that will not do anythyng especially if your take the whole thing!...

This stunt proves a couple of things:

1. Homeopathy is safe, something which has already been proven in studies (EECH, 2009; Reilly, 2006). It's proven safe in these studies for infants, children, nursing mothers and pregnant women. A child could take an entire bottle without being harmed even though the remedy will resolve health problems.

2. These people don't know anything at all about homeopathy. The only homeopathic which will have an effect is the one most closely matching the patient's symptoms. It must also be chosen with the patient's constitution in mind. Taking any other remedy will have no effect whatsoever either negative or positive.

No it means it doesn't work CRedd-ulous. Also provide actual links to the papers you cite. I know this means you will actually have to see these papers but at least you can then see what utter crap they are.

So why can people go into pharmacies and buy homeopathic sleeping pills (note some of the skeptics who ODd on these do suffer insomnia). If these are a scam why are't you and your homeopathetic friends writing to your health departments??? Oh thats right, then they might invetigate what you consider "real homeopathy" and find it is just as useless.

As described by MRCP II MADE EASY, which is the bible for Homeopathy, it is extremely dangerous to take too much dosage of Homeopathic medicine because of the disorganisation of strange attractants which is numerically approximately 6.4

Many Australians and international patients come to Malaysia and India for Homeopathic treatments and leave cured. No want wants to speak about cancer. Please do not continue your vendetta for a subject for which you do not understand the benefit. It is like acupuncture which if the wrong meridians are struck, may cause a pneumothorax and even death from dysryhmia. Malaysia also offers a competitive MD in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
