There are now two studies backing up Andrew Wakefield's 1998 study. They are:

Study by John O'Leary, Professor of Pathology, St. James Hospital, Dublin, 2001

Study by Dr. Stephen Walker, Wake Forest U. School of Medicine, North Carolina, 2011

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-388051/Scien...

In addition, an analysis of studies also comes to the same conclusion that there is a link between the vaccine and autism.

Autism may have been created by conventional drugs, but it can be treated with homeopathy. I know of two homeopaths who left their careers to become homeopaths after their children were cured of autism with homeopathic treatment. Homeopathy has been proven safe in studies and over the course of 200 years of clinical use. It is effective, green and inexpensive. It has been regulated and approved by the FDA since 1939 based on it safety record.

The only thing the FDA did in 1938 is allow it to be sold over the counter. But don't mistake that for safe or that it works. That would be false. Conventional prescription drugs and new OTC drugs must undergo thorough testing and review by the FDA for safety and effectiveness before they can be sold, this requirement DOES NOT apply to homeopathic remedies. Just as there is no such thing as risk-free, it also applies to homeopathic medicines. Homeopathic medicines side effects and risks of homeopathic treatments are not well researched and most of them have a laundry list of medical issues they treat. There's plenty of info and web sites of those who were injured and/ or died due to Homeopathic medicines.

The best quackfest is the claim that children were cured of autism with homeopathic treatment. But since this is a quackfest topic, why not add examples.

Pharma's allies, the FDA and the CDC make sure their toxic products hit markets with little testing. Now, the U.S. government has given vaccine producers blanket immunity from litigation. I guess all their "SAFE" vaccines need this type of protection. Funny, the government also set up a compensation program and a vaccine court in the past too. WHY? Their vaccines are SAFE. What's the problem? Ther's a new problem we need to keep in mind. With no fear of lawsuit, does anyone think Pharma will lesson safety standards and study? I'd bet $$$ on it. Beware of the future Quackery from Pharma.

There have been two studies done on the safety of homeopathic remedies. The first, done in 2009 which includes 20 observational studies with a total of 7,275 patients, concludes that:

1)Adverse drug reactions rarely occur with the use of homeopathic remedies. Those that occur are mild to moderate and are transient lasting for a brief period of time.

2) The researchers were unable to find any evidence to support the claim that homeopathic remedies may cause serious adverse drug reactions or life-threatening situations

This study replicates the findings of a previous study done by Reilly, et al., in 2005.

These studies conclude that homeopathy is safe for infants, children, pregnant women and nursing mothers.(In fact, homeopathy is recommended by most French pharmacists for pregnant women, is taught in 21 of 24 of France's schools of pharmacy and in 7 French schools of medicine. France was nominated number one in health care by WHO.)

http://homeopathyresource.wordpress.com/2009/...

"What's the Harm" is the one site "skeptics" refer to when they claim homeopathic remedies are not safe or have caused injury of death. Reading the back-up to the 47 cases that site presents, makes it clear that some of the people never used homeopathy at all, the site confuses other systems of medicine such as the Schusseler cell salts with homeopathy, and that some of the individuals used conventional medicine unsuccessfully first before trying homeopathy or other natural systems of medicine.(Although cell salts are prepared homeopathically, they are used as nutritional supplements and are not prescribed according to homeopathic principles. Therefore, they are not considered to be homeopathy.)

That is just rude my son is 8 and is autistic and yes they might get overwelmed and have brake outs but that is a disorder that they can not help, how would you feal if it was your child and hear and see people saying these things be for real do you feal they should do that to the mintaily handycaped as well you need prayer
If it were my child, he'd be immediately institutionalized so fast his head would spin! Last fall, I was on vacation in Dallas, Texas, watching the Dallas Cheerleaders perform at a football game, during which I saw the absolute most disgusting thing possible. About a half hour into the game, the cheerleader squad came to the stands and sat down on 6 of the bleacher tiers directly below me, and then an autistic guy, flapping his hands and hopping around, sat down next to one of the cheerleaders sitting in the first bleacher below me, and right in front of me, and then he put his arm around her (the cheerleader) and began stroking her neck and under her chin, and then her lower cheeks. And I could even tell, from a few sentences exchanged, that both were perfect strangers, never met before, and it was in fact the autistic guy's first time ever seeing the Dallas Cheerleaders in person. And most disgusting is that nobody even bothered with the situation. Neither the coaches nor the other cheerleaders, and not even a passing uniformed police officer. And then suddenly he got up to go to the bathroom, just as I had my lighter out and was just a couple seconds away from setting the back of the guy's shirt on fire! I'm serious! Autistic guys especially are that disgusting! I really wanted to beat the crap out of that guy for harassing those cheerleaders! Or at least watch him flee madly away in a big ball of flames. Getting affectionate like that in public ought to be a capital felony! Punishable by at least 75 years in prison.

Heck yes they assault cheerleaders! They assault everyone in one way or another. Even if it is just gentle touching/stroking, as that autistic guy in Dallas did to that cheerleader, it is still assault, and what that autistic piece of sh1t in Dallas did to that cheerleader was totally and utterly inappropriate and should have been penalized, and penalized severely! Autistic men especially are a critical threat to the entire female population as they hang over women like sleepy apes, they touch them in totally inappropriate ways, they invade their personal space. If I were President of the USA, there would be a mandatory 3 foot Law nationwide for all males and females.

Heck yes they assault cheerleaders! Autistic men assault all the ladies and are a filthy horrible disgust in society and a critical danger to the entire female population at large, especially in public. They hang over them like sleepy apes, they invade their personal space, they do all sorts of disgusting and inappropriate things to women! If I were President of the USA, there would be a mandatory minimum 3 foot law for all males and females in public. And even though he was just rubbing his fingers and hands on her like petting a cat, what that autistic piece of sh1t in Dallas did to that one cheerleader was way totally and utterly inappropriate and should have been penalized, and penalized severely!

So far it appears that today ONLY vaccinated children develop autism. One in six US children develops autism. Did one in six American children become autistic 40 years ago? No! Try to find an autistic child today who was not vaccinated.

Parents thinking of vaccinating their children with standard vaccines will be interested in reading "Cases of Autism Dwarf the Risk of Measles":

Parents with autistic children will be interested in the holistic ways to deal with autism (including a recommendation that homeopathic nosodes be used in place of standard vaccines) described by Andrew Levinson, M.D., at:

What a load of bovine feces. Unvaccinated children in Denmark suffer the same rates of autism as vaccinated kids. Unvaccinated Amish kids suffer autism: http://photoninthedarkness.blogspot.com/2006/...

Also check this list of historical figures sometimes considered autistic - many in from pre-vaccine era: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_figur...

Once again CReddulous demonstrates a complete ignorance om the topic.
