If it didn't work, it would have disappeared from the world about 200 years ago, when it first came out. Instead, it's popularity grows despite centuries of political suppression, hostility created to drive it underground and its practitioners out of business, and now, expensive and widespread media disparagement programs that have bought out TV, Radio, Film, universities, hospitals, newspapers, websites, and many (but not all, there are some with high standards and ethics, such as the Lancet) peer-reviewed medical journals all over the world. That's quite a lot of energy and expense put to work to try and "Kill" a medicine that keeps growing more and more popular no matter how much money and power are put to work to stamp it out. Must be something to it, then, huh?

Must be something to it, then, huh? Gosh what a wild imagination you've got. Nobody gives a toss about trying to stamp out homeopathy. All that skeptics and the media are trying to do is to inform the public exactly what homeopathy is, how it is made and what it contains. Why is this a threat? Can you direct me to any programme or article that has spread lies about homeopathy? Most people believe it is a form of herbal medicine which is patently wrong and this should be more widely known. What have you got to be afraid of? If you have so much faith in homeopathy why are you threatened by the truth?

It gives the illusion it works because most mild illness is self limiting, that is it will get better if you do nothing. So people take homeopathy for that mild rash, headache or common cold and when these things get better they incorrectly attribute it to the homeopathy. Also your logic is flawed in that there are numerous instances where practices that don't work have been carried out for 1000s of years. eg human sacrifice, praying to god/s, slavery, expecting a soccer match to be entertaining, etc
