Where exactly do you apply the cream on the foreskin only or on the penis head and glands too ? Because I have nystatin and triamcinolone and says external use only

hi all
I am back!
Id pretty much tried everything - all the creams and even white vinegar on my last post I was using a cream which seemed to be working but as soon a i stopped hey presto it was back and just as bad as before.
So i went to the docs and was given a script for a pill called fluconazole which has killed it completely, it did the business pretty much overnight and everythings back to normal.:) been free from it now for a good week.
Hopefully i wont have to post again

So I had sex with a girl last Sunday (2/5) and we were very drunk so it got very dry eventually, so dry that the condom even ripped at one point. I noticed a small crack/cut on the bottom of the shaft of my penis that I threw up to friction burn. In the week since it has gotten very dry and flaky, and after i peekl away the flakes thinking it has healed, it will come back. I assume its just being stretched out again from erections etc. either way, careful inspection of this area has now led me to discover 2 or 3 very small bumps (flesh colored) and do not look anything like herpes blisters or warts from the hundreds of pictures i have frantically scanned online, would say they look more like small pimples (but no white head per se). Any opinions out there? Is this an STD/Herpes/Gen Warts??? Oh, and while shaving with a trimmer down near there to get a closer look at everything, I seem to have gotten too close and cut myself at the base of the shaft, and the skin around there is all dry too? am i using too much soap, what the hecks goign on? Also, no pain, itching or burning at all.

not going to read 900 comments to find out if this has been mentioned.. but a lot of what I'm hearing could be symptoms of a yeast infection.. or an allergic reaction to a detergent or body spray of some kind. I've had reactions on other parts of my body to Axe and the like.. and many laundry detergents. So try changing that up. As for yeast infection, there are many home remedies which will cure the infection from inside your system as well as on your dick... and then make sure your partner does the same! peace.

hi all - i have had the same issue 2-3 years- don't know the cause - it was just like that one day, maybe balanitis or something, but none of the remedies worked. I am uncircumcised and in my case the skin on skin prevented healing, tried absoloutley everything, the only thing kept it stable was CLOTRIMAZOLUM - it seemed an ingredient in that stopped any skin rubbing, and stopped the redness, downside is that it took 3 applications a day to stay on top of it, so its not a long term fix.

anyway read this post below it shows how to keep the foreskin back to let it heal without having to get cut, which might help some people - don't panic if the skin dries for a few days its part of the healing process.

http://www.steadyhealth.com/do_i_keep_foreski...

since doing this I have noticed all the skin on the outer layer becoming the same level again, no redness, no stickyness, I think i will be able to go back to normal with a few more weeks like this hope i can help some fellow sufferers with my findings. good luck

ps - i have also found that once the skin is back - If I leave it the f--k alone no creams no ointments, soap, olive oil, tea tree oil or any of that s--t - wash with water only - dab dry with tissue and forget about it and let it get better with a bit of air around it.

I've been posting in this thread for quite a while now. My story is long, so I won't bore you with details, but just know that I've been diagnosed with just about everything from warts to eczema to molluscum...I've tried every cream/powder/home remedy there is. Finally I have some clarity.

The redness/dryness/scaliness/bump s would appear almost immediately after sex. After oral sex, I'd have the same symptoms around my mouth. Turns out my girlfriend has had a yeast infection all this time but had NO symptoms. I'm a circumcised male, so it's very rare for me to get a yeast infection. Though I don't know if I actually had a yeast infection - the symptoms would slowly go away until the next time I had sex. So maybe my skin was reacting to the yeast, without actually getting an infection? I don't know.

Anyways, I took a flucozonole pill and my symptoms went away in a day. There are still bumps - but I think they are from electrocautery that an inept dermatologist performed when he thought they were warts. Get a flucozonole pill - you can get it over the counter (though in this case my doctor prescribed it). Take it and make sure your partner takes one as well.

I don't want to say it, I also have the same problem and I really, really wished I didn't so you can understand why just blurting out these words really annoys me but to everyone asking how to prevent erections I do have two painful words (cover your ears):
chastity belt.

btw, I heard somewhere things that could work are:

1) coconut oil
2) tea tree (the oil or actual tea? dunno)
3) getting a sun tan (a little complicated in that part of the body for some people).

Apparently all these methods are good because they kill fungus and 1 and 2 also moisturize. Since I have access to a sauna I plan going to the sauna and putting on the red light hoping that does the "getting a sun tan" trick. If it's fungus it might kill them... about the erections thing... ouch... a chastity belt is expensive in more than one way (yep, they cost and they also cost a lot) but if there is absolutely no other way bc I can't have erections for say a few days or something I guess I'll give it a try.

Maybe it's because simply getting an erection, which stretches out the skin, might be preventing it from healing completely, and it's kinda hard to prevent that...
"Any Ideas?"

Cover your ears, but not your eyes bc you do need to read this:

No, I havnt tried lotrimin. lately I've tried some neosporin with pain relief but I just started that a few days ago. Any ideas what my problem could be? Its really strange but I'm glad that it is much more common than i thought. I noticed it a little less than a year ago. I just thought it was irritated skin from masterbation, so for the past 3-4 months I havnt masturbated but its still there. I'm guessing that getting an erection prevents it from healing because it stretches the skin out, but its nearly impossible to not get erections. Any advice or ideas on what this is would be appreciated.

Sam, seeing that your a virgin i would try lotrimin first for a week. This problem seemed to show up for alot of guys after oral sex, in that case i think the culprit could be HSV-1. If the lotrimin doesn't work you might want to go to a dermatologist. Keep us posted...

Mike,(I probably should have told you this earlier) I haven't had oral sex, and the farthest I've ever gone with a girl is hugging, so I doubt it would be HSV-1. But thanks anyway for your advice.
