Wondering how many of these are actually Dermoid Cysts? I'd recommend looking up "orbital dermoid cysts" before letting someone go in there and make a blind incision, here's a bit about my story with an orbital dermoid: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Plastic-Surgery-98...
Know what it is before the surgeon is hired to avoid aggravation, wish I picked my second surgeon the first time around...

I just had both an unmovable bump removed from my forhead yesterday. The doctor called it a lipoma, a fibrous fatty growth. Mine was so tightly anchored into the muscle on my forhead that it actually felt to me like it was a bone mass. I may end up with a thin two inch horizontal scar on my forehead but I'll be much happier to have it than the bump. Mine was removed in day surgery with general anestetic which took about 30 minutes.
Hi Heidi, today I also had a bump removed from my forehead that i have had for atleast a year. My doctor also called it a lipoma. The procedure went really well. I am much happier that there is no longer a bump anymore.

I have the same problem too!
This bump on my hairline above my eyebrow appeared about 3, 4 days ago. And i'm rlly worried :( I'm 13 and I noticed it during the day. And at the time I didn't have a mirror close to me so I just kept rubbing it. And now the bump has a scab... It's hard. It moves. And it's like lift-able :O
Please anyone reply?? Thanks!

I'm 16 and ive had a lump on my forehead right above my left brow since 7th grade. The lump started small and grew, until it became noticeable. In 8th grade, I went to see a plastic surgeon and he tried to remove it with surgery, but when the swelling went down, the lump was still there. It's embarassing to walk around with this lump, having to lie to people about falling down the stairs and hitting my head, and hiding it behind bangs. I want it gone, for good. Any suggestions on what I should do next?

Hey, i just got a lump that i think could be a cyst just last week. it hasn't gotten any better and i am worried. it's not completely noticeable of friends and my classmates, but i want it gone quick. it is movable under the skin, not attached to anything. it's right beside my left brow, in between both brows though

My boyfriends head between his eyes and at the top of his nose just all of a sudden started swelling tonight. I thought maybe he hit his head, so I put ice on it, it only got bigger. So we took the ice PDF and went to sleep. When we woke up it was still swollen and it didn't get any smaller. It's not a pimple or zit, it's not red, doesn't move, and he says it doesn't hurt. Any ideas?

So I've had a hard lump on my temple for ten years now and never thought to get it looked at until recently having to wake up to terrible headaches. The doctor told me it might be a calcium build up under my skull? I had a ct scan today and have to wait til Monday to hear results. If anyone has had the same thing I'd like to hear what ur diagnois was

I have a hard bump on my forehead above my left eye brow. It has been there since last one year but has become prominent since last few days. Is it a skin problem or a bone problem? Should I see a dermatologist or an orthopedic surgeon? Please suggest.

Has anyone tried using a facial mask on their skin. My son age 15 has a small lump on his forehead as well as some pimples that recently popped up and I went to the CVS phamacy and purchased some facial mask products and started putting it on his entire face and neck area. I have noticed a difference in the bumps becoming smaller. The facial mask can pull out the oil in the bumps and reduce them. Check with your Doctor to see if this treatment will help. I leave the mask on his skin for at least 3 hours and then he washes it off. We are doing this treatment several times a week.

I've had a hard bump below my hairline for about Suz years now. When I first noticed it, I went to the doctor and he took an xray and didn't see anything and didn't know anything. Fast forward to last week and I went to see a Dermatologist, ($70). He said it was a deep Lipoma and even tho it feels like bone, it is soft tissue, which is why the first doctor didn't see anything on the xray. So I now have an appointment, on Thursday, with a plastic surgeon,($50) that he recommended. That $50 will go towards the procedure. I will check in after the appointment and let you know what he said. Oh, as for all the people who said they would rather have the bump, than the scar, you all are crazy. Scars are much more socially acceptable than a weird bump. I'll be wearing my hair back and scar with pride while you cover your bump with your bangs and worry if the wind is gonna blow them the wrong way. js.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
