My daughter has had a very hard lump in the center of her forehead since she was 13. She has a head CT and they said that it was a "boney growth." It got bigger so we got it rescanned today. Waiting on the results now. It is hard and unmovable.
i have the same thing man, my doctor told me they could remove it, but i would take a risk in losing feeling of my forehead and being able to move my eyebrows.

Hey Alex. Ur scenario appears to be the most similar to mine. I have a bump on left side on my forhead. Ive had it for over 2 years now and I really feel embarassed at times when im asked about it by other people. And me being a very self concious person doesnt help much either. you said that ur bump turned out to be a tissue fat. Mine is somethin similar as well . It doesnt hurt , it doesnt swell, it doesnt go red or anything. However it looks unusual or ugly on my forhead [especially out in the sun ] it shines...i chekked wid a dermatologist and she said that its nuthing serious and if she was to conduct a surgery on it it would leave a scar instead. She also assured me that 99 percent of the people dont notice it. i cant b sure of dat. My gurl notices it, my family members do, and most of friends do to.any thoughts alex?

I too like all above had a lump on my forehead. I worried myself sick for years about the endless list of possible things it could be. Then one day I went to the doctor and within two months I was lumpless. It turned out to be a piece of tissue fat.
The point i'm trying to make is that the most important thing all of you can do is go to a doctor. If it's nothing serious then you can finaly relax and start living again. If on the other hand it is something more serious then isn't it better to get the best treatment as soon as possible. Why wait? It's not worth the risk.

I had my bump (right below the brow on the right side) removed about 2 months ago and now it's back and bigger and it's making me want to cry and I don't know what to do. I'm going back to the surgeon next week, but I'm so frustrated.

what are the odds that you would lose movement in your face by having scar tissue removed from your forehead?

hi guys.. all the above sounds the same to me. i have a moveable lump on my forehead. you cant really notice it and it only moves when u put pressure on it. i often wonder what the lump is made of? tissue? fat? bone? it feels so hard. had it for years. its never grown. doctors say nothing to worry about. dont want a scar so.... but i still feel puzzeled as to how it got there and what the heck is it? dermo says fibre and tissue. any comments guys??

Looks like the world is full of people with bumpy foreheads. I have the same thing, right side forehead, it's hard and doesn't move. It's small, and no one really notices it but me. I was at the dermatologist to remove it, because the family doc said he thought it was a cyst, but derm/plastic surgeon says no. He thought it some sort of bony groeth and wanted to grind it down. EW! He sent me for xray to make sure nothing weird going on. Likw what? I made up my mind, if it's nothing major, it stays. Maybe I'll name it. How 'bout "Willy"?(Willy Lump-Lump)

I have one of those, right between my eyes along the eyebrow line. Sometimes it erupts on its own with sticky white or clear fluid, with redness developing all around it after I press on it and so on.

I just heard that TERTACYCLINE can cause some lumps , but I don't know if they are like this one or not, I am trying to google some answers...

Did Y'all with lumps and earballs [lumps in ear lobes] ever get TERTACYCLINE?[an anti-biotic]

I have a marbled-sized lump on top of my forehead for many years. It's not movable...I would love to have it removed but my insurance does not cover plastic surgery. The doctor said it was non-cancerous. I was going to have a cat-scan to see how bad it is...meaning to see how it is wrapped around the bone...but I decided not to since I can't afford the surgery.

I have a lump above my left eyebrow, just above my brow....I was told by my doctor it was a cyst..I am looking to get it removed via plastic surgury, etc but I would like to know if anyone else went this route...I specifically would like to know if the scar is bad...Can they cut just above the eyebrow to lessen the noticable scar?

Well i had a cyst in my breast and the scar from getting it removed is about half an inch long..fairly faint...not an "ugly" scar...vitamin E helps reduce scarrin..i did not know this when i had the surgery

My 4 year old grandson is experiencing this lump over his left eyebrow and slightly below. Ever since it started he as been blinking hard deliberately. His doc recommended a ct scan then made an appointment with a plastic surgeon a few days after scan. Well he doesn't need plastic surgeon, he needs biopsy asap. I had been looking on internet, check out "fibrous dysplasia", I swore that's what he had, it was not moveable and seemed so hard. If that is what anyone has you need a bone surgeon for it is part of the bone, it is a woven section of the bone that needs to be shaved down. But supposedly from a ct scan that is easily diagnosable, and his wasn't. He will be getting biopsy shortly, I'll let you know what it is. My point, Get To A Doctor!

Its actually nice to know others have this same issue. I have hada red bump above my right eye brow for about 4 months now, and looking in past pictures, I notice a small red discoloring in that spot for about a year or so.

y husband just had the growth above his right eye treated. It was also just above his right eyebrow. It was VERY hard, slightly movable. It developed over a 3 month period and appeared to swell during stressful times and when he worked many hours and suffered from lack of sleep. The Dr. just said it was fatty tissue groiwth and would remove it. She opened it up and began to scrape, and scrape, lots of blood, she had to re numb the area because he could feel pain while she scraped. Along with the fatty tissue she removed three small hard ball like things, they are being sent for biopsy to the lab. I hope it turns out to be nothing. Until this forum, I would have never guessed so many people suffer from this same thing! Good luck to all of you, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Be well and many blessings to all of you!!!

I've had this fatty lump next to my left eyebrow, sort of between my brows which appears enlarged when I crinkle my brows or frown. It seems to come & go but tonight it's protruding rather large. My friend said it's a a sign of high cholesterol. I'm not sure what it is but any insight would be greatly helpful! I'll ask the doctor on my next checkup...

my teenage son has a large bump on each side of his forehead (looks like he's walked into a tree, each side). these are now so noticeable he's getting comments from mates at school. He has a flat forehead so the bumps make the middle look like it's going in the way. anyone have any ideas what these are? Thanks in advance.

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
