New Study: Chiropractic "Medicine" a "Waste of Time"

A great website for Chiropractic information and for Chiropractors is http://www.WeCareChiropractors.com
Not a very balanced site, ran by disgruntled ex-grads mostly from Life College during Sid's glory days and by a couple of PTs as well who are anti-chiro. Members who disagree with the moderators at chiro"talk" are promptly banned or mysteriously stop posting. |
nmsdr, what did you post on chirotalk that was bannned?
Chirotalk is a skeptical website regarding chiropractic. Its not a website for chiropractic propaganda. Participants on chirotalk include MDs, PTs, lawyers and former chiropractors with years of experience, the chiropractors that post there have graudated from nearly every chiro college in the U.S. and Canada, including graduates from National. Nice try at marginalizing chirotalk. I think they more than 1600 members and thousands of "hits" on a daily basis. |
I think 'yahoo answers' has more hits than that moby, does that mean everything that is said on there should be taken as being correct.
We all know what happens at Chirotalk. And since when are PT's and Lawyers qualified to talk about Chiropractic when they have not spent a day in Chiropractic school, and have probably gathered their information about Chiro's from the very people running Chirotalk. Its like you giving your opinion on Chiropractic. Because you are not qualified, nobody takes you seriously.... |

Moby,
Chirotalk IS a website for propaganda, anti-chiropractic propaganda. Though it makes some legitimate points, any evidence brought to the contrary is quickly censored, for lack of a better terms. The former chiropractors which you speak of are mostly graduates of Life College or other philosophically driven schools who had little training in differential diagnosis and core sciences. To suggest that chiropractic schools outside the USA (most of which are in the university setting) is absurd. The majority of the posts are from the same core of 5-10 individuals and all though there is the occasional MD or PT that drops by, to suggest the membership of chirotalk is a healthy balance of health professionals is laughable. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm willing to bet that a healthy sum of those daily hits come from the very same 'core' 5-10 users. The fact that you're so vehemently defending CT leads me to believe that you're either a regular or a mod. |
Edit: to suggest that chiropractic schools outside the USA are like Life, Palmer, Sherman etc is absurd.

If you have a chiropractic degree and a car that runs at least you can deliver pizza. Until your car brakes down at least. Or they repo it. Or your momma throws you out of the basement. ect. HAHAHA..........SUCKERS....... ...HAHAHA.
Yeah, the thoudands of hits every day come from 5 - 10 people. Right.
Attorneys and MDs offer some very insightful information regarding chiropractic. For example, there was a wacky chiro who claimed he could turn breech babies with a "technique" he dreamed up. The Obgyn was instructive in pointing out the bizarre claims made by that chiro. But I asked what you posted that was banned. And it was....? Chirotalk is a skepticaL CHIROPRACTIC WEBSITE. The fact that you fellas have no skepticism is quite laughable. |

Old Sid really knew how to get the SUCKERS to line up. He just started humming about MMMMMMONEY!!!!!. Now all the SUCKERS need is to find more SUCKERS. HAHAHA..........maybe if you called yourself DOCTOR or PROFESSOR or something..........HAHAHA. I got it. Why don't you quote some of your own "STUDIES"..........H AHAHA

NMSDR>"to suggest that chiropractic schools outside the USA are like Life, Palmer, Sherman etc is absurd."
Are you suggesting, as I know they are, that these chiropractic schools provide a pathetic clinical eperience? |
No, they probably come up from google. But have a look at how many people post (are allowed to post). Thousands are there? It may be skeptic, however discussion forum it is not. I bet they do. All those years at Chiropractic school they must have learnt a great deal about the profession. Either than or they don't really have a clue, a bit like you moby. What is your experience at Chiropractic school and what did they tell you while you were there? Since you are qualified to give your opinion then i expect it to be a good one. Or you could just post the same thing you normally post, either way.... |

Lawyers refer to chiropractors to help build their client's personal injury cases. Lawyers both defend and prosecute chiropractors every day.
They possess a lot of valuable information regarding the chiropractic field. Medical doctors are the best trained professionals regarding the diagnosis and treatment of all illnesses. Deal with it Andrew. As to my knowledge....I know as much, if not more, than most chiropractors do about their own field. And it drives you fellas crazy. |
Wow, that must mean that know the human body and what Chiropractors do to it so well. I guess anyone wanting to become a Chiropractor should become a lawyer and get the two degrees in one. Saves a bit of time. They may deal with them every day, that by no means proves they know anything about what a Chiropractor actually does. And this shows that they know about the Chiropractic profession does it. 1+1=3? haha just keep telling yourself that. Your so smart you don't even need to go to college to learn about it, you just pick it all up from google? nice one. You still didn't answer, what do you research? |

Moby,
What is your understanding of chiropractic clinical internships in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australasia? How many new patient visits and treatments are required for graduation? Any affiliations with hospitals or other interdisciplinary clinics? I'm curious to see why you are so narrowly informed. Again, hung up on traditional chiropracTIO and not contemporary chiropractic. |
JIM..hurry up with my dang pizzas...you seriously are the worst pizza delivery man ever.... |
Andrew, lawyers can add their perspective in the practice and legalities of chiropractic. And so they have value in discussing chiropractic.
You've sure shown yourself to be quite ignorant...and irrelevant. |
I'm curious as your answers re: my post 1 hour ago, Moby. Hopefully we can continue this discussion when you find out the differences re: USA chiropractic clinical education standards and other countries.

Chirotalk.com were you can learn all about car insurance, flowers, to getting a date all at one place. Man this is a joke, Not to mention you have DCs advertising on your site.
