What I find interesting is she works for Frank Howard Allen as a Realtor. Not sure how this affects California Real Estate Licensing Law.

just a thought wrote: <quoted text> Dear Shelley, I am quite sure that the Kentfield club does not allow smoking much less any use on/in there club area. How do you suppose they will prevent it? Concened Kentfield Residents may want to consider hiring a Private Investigator to obtain surveillance outside club, etc

Are you the departed husband's oncologist? What real doctor would prescribe "smoking" (anything) for someone dying of lung cancer? Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy?

Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy? No, but since smoking pot doesn't cause cancer, his oncologist would agree with me. A doctor who was interested in managing the dying person's pain would consider recommending marijuana. Smoking pot won't change the outcome "for someone dying of lung cancer" despite what you seem to think. It'll only help them feel better, deal with chemo side-effects, and so on. But don't let that stop you. FYI I don't believe in the Tooth Fairy & I don't believe in you, either.

It doesn't mean it is a good idea or will prolong life. The hippocratic oath to "do no harm" is violated with every "prescription" of tar laden, cancer causing "medical" marijuana dispensed in Marin. Deal with it.

Wow for a progressive you really dont know much about medical marijuana.
Medical Marijuana can be taken many ways from smoking to eating or drinking the medicine needed to help various medical patients.
I find it odd you bring up the hippocratic oath when more then 90% of dr's over perscribe useless and harmful medication that causes side affects that only lead to further bodily and mental damage. That oath was broken years ago.
Medical Marijuana has its place in the medical world. If you feel that Oxicotton and Vicadin which have killed more youths this year then ever, should be outlawed. Your so called dr. perscribed legal heroin.
I find all the arguments stated so far have no merrit. If anyone has actually been there you can see that the building in under 100% camera surveillance. So the need for a private investigator Im sure is a waste of money, but im sure in this economy this is by far the greatest problem we have, not the lack of good parenting or a need to possibly focus on why cancer has a higher rate in Marin then any county in California. You would all think with the absurd things happening in our world today from our government to our economy is it so insane to think that a plant that has been called evil could be the one plant we need to look at for our future. We all hate chopping trees down, oddly hemp is easier, cheaper, and better for the enviroment then leveling our forests. This is one small portion of what this plant is capable of helping our world with.
I ha always thought that the people in Marin were special because we went out of our way to be green, to want to preserve our lands, mountains. We as a community should set the example that all other cities are working towards. If we are to ever to learn from our past mistakes of being quick to judge, ask one the center to have an open house. Perhaps the stigma about this industry may change, much like a President we only dreamt could ever win.
For all you grammar and spelling gurus forgive my mistakes, passion sometimes over rides basics.
Sincerely, FYi

What in the does that have to do with anything? Focus on your "Tree of Life". Really. You don't have a good enough reason to argue your lies so you introduce some crap i don't care about. Tell me how this is effecting your life? Someone you love or close to you has died from the use of medical marijuana? I don't get your issue? Your kids threw some talent or dream down the drain from the use? Please help me understand? Focus this time and energy and help solve a real problem. How about 1 million gallons of oil a day destroying our ocean.( yours and mine )B.P. We voted on this very issue over ten years ago.....No "kids" have been harmed in that time. Make a Real Change.
