Sis, NM beef might be grass fed, grass fed beef is an acquired taste.

Idaho beef is fed potatoes and we know how good steak and taters go together

DOn't eat red meat. It will kill you. Oh and BTW all of you who do should take a field trip to a packing plant: they go in live on one end and come out nicely sliced up and wrapped up on the other. Meat is a bloody disgusting business.

We raised "Free Range Cattle" long before it was fashionable. Coulda charged more if we had known better.

"Cain't stand taters no more. I know it goes against the German part of me but I used up all my tater tokens a few years ago.

I'm just saying that if you had to kill it you most likely would not eat it.But I am all for the side dishes at steakhouses like cheesy potatoes, creamed corn or spinach, crispy fired hash browns, giant baked potatoes, super thin crunchy onion rings, sauteed mushrooms...

I hunt Deer and Elk and love the meat. I have also butchered our own cattle and pigs. Elk 60% and Pork 40% makes for a great sausage!

Well Judge there is a big difference between looking dinner in the eye and having the stones to kill and butcher it then running into Albertsons and grabbing a cello pack of dead cattle flesh. I don't want to kill it therefore I don't eat it. Hey I love a ribeye as much as the next guy, I just choose to no longer participate in America's fixation with dead animal flesh

Well, good for your choice, but don't ruin it for the rest of us. We get to make our own choice. You don't have to like it, and nobody is asking you to like it. I don't bag on you because you don't eat meat, so please don't bag on me because I do.

Thank you.

I am sure we could go all day on what we think is each other's nasty habits and bad choices, but I don't think we have to, nor do I want to. O.K.?

Do not eat beef raised by Republicans, no matter where they come from. Free range cattle raised by Democrats is healthier and tastes way better.

Just remember, plants (vegetables) are living things, too, and you have to "kill" them before you eat 'em.

now see that is a silly response really. Yes plants are alive, but they are not sentient beings, they do not scream when you slaughter them. My real opposition with the meat industry is factory farming, inhumane unsanitary conditions, forced feedings and a host of other inhumane and ugly practices that have been developed to satisfy our odd fixation with all things meat.
