What Is Acupuncture?

One thing we know for sure, it is not homeopathy.

Both are excellent forms of healing, capable of gently and completely curing many thing which "modern medicine" cannot touch
(also without the terrible "side effects" of $pharma drugs which often require a drug to combat the side effect of the drug to combat the side effect of the first drug...)
$pharma drugging is the #3 leading cause of death in the USA ! BE careful out there !

First of all JoeBob, only a Acupuncturist is an authority on acupuncture, that being a licensed acupuncturist who has completed 4 year program to 6 year program in acupuncture and oriental medicine and is licensed as a Acupuncturist. Not so called 100 hour medical acupuncture.

That being siad, you comments on acupuncture prove how stupid you really are. This is a road you do not want to travel, as AOM has strong scientific evidence.

You are a complete joke, you know nothing about Chiropractic or Acupuncture or Medicine. In fact you are some nut job crazy stalker. No one takes anything you quackter has to say seriously. Due to the fact that you are a idiot fraudster

No go get us another big fish story from the chirostalker campfire

Chiropractic rules as well as Acupuncturists rule

We own you JoeBob

By the way, when do you and Lt. Botnick set sail on the dumbmagump boat?

How did you get so stupid?

How is your Tx Baby Steps coming along?

There are plenty of chiropractors out there doing the acupuncture quackery with only 100 hours of "training". Really too funny. Not to mention fraudulent.

But the point was, these acupuncture quacks bash medicine just like chiropractors. that's a fact.

And another indication that the chiropractic diaper needs to be emptied.

I believe there are only 50 or so acupoints that are used on a daily basis. I don't see any problems with doctors learning those points and administering them. What kind of difference do the years make? Can someone explain the difference between medical doctors doing acupuncture and licensed acupunturists who have put in those hours?

Acupuncturists bash medicine? Really?

Get your facts straight wisdom

70% of the professors at AOM colleges are MEDICAL DOCTORS. Again you are uninformed

The diff between a Acupuncturist and a Medical Doctor performing acupuncture? Big difference, any MD that does acupuncture will tell you this. That is like comparing a MD doing a physical exam to a DC doing one. MD have far more training.

Also there are a lot more that 50 points commonly used Joe Henderson.

What about Pulse diagnosis? Tongue diagnosis? Also TCM exam and diagnosis? You cannot learn this in 100 hours. It takes years to become a competent Acupuncturists. Even for acupuncturist who did the 3000 to 5000 hour schooling depending on the Masters level or the DAOM level (Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) degree. Check out Bastyr University, one of the TOP DAOM programs in the country Regionally Accredited. Specialize in Oncology support, do internship at Cancer Center Treatments of America, and 2 other regional cancer centers. With professors from Havard and other top Colleges teaching. Check out this www.daomdegree.org for the DAOM program

That is the diff between a MD doing acupuncture with 100 hours of training versus a DC doing it with 100 hours of training. The MD will admit they are not as competent as a Acupuncturist while I see DC telling people they are as competent as a acupuncturist. This is my only complaint about some DC's. But not all DC's are like this.

Check out Dr. Hammer one of the top acupuncturist in the world and master of Pulse diagnosis. Has been a acupuncturist for 40 years,(DID the full schooling and more) but also a MD and board certified physciatrist.

So what makes wisdom the expert in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine now? If you even think you are then well you truly are a fraud.

Still cannot understand why wisdom makes a comment that acupuncturists bash medicine? You really are a liar and fraud wisdom with a dumb comment like that.

Wisdom how do you know that the first post was from a fully licensed acupncturist? Anyone can post here.

Fact is that almost all REAL acupuncturists are taught by MD's, why would a Acupuncturist bash their mentors? As always you are wrong again

Now why would something be legit just because it has been around for say 3000 years?

What the long history will just instead is that it is a SAFE form of medical tx.

Also to be more acurate here, acupuncture and chinese medicine actually date back 5000 years

You are as always an idiot lying behind a keyboard all day long

dirty diaper "wisdom" more like "wiseguy" in the mob sense, and undoubtedly:
$pharma medical industry paid shill.

Fact:$pharma industry pays $30Billion+ to weak-minded hacks to repost drivel written by $pharma.

Fact: chiropractic has repeatedly SUED and WON against "official" AMA and other $pharma medical industrial complex conspiracy, slander "restraint of trade" etc.

http://www.google.com/search...

Fact: diaper-load wisdom is a useful fool; a stupid toy to keep the conversation going.
(thanks :)

Fact: TCM (including acupuncture and Chinese herbalism,) Chiropractic, Homeopathy, and Ayur Veda are all SAFE and EFFECTIVE systems of healing.

FACT: no one needs to be taking $pharma pills to combat the "side effects" (mental/physical/biological symptoms caused by often poisonous $pharma drugs)
of the $pharma drug to combat the side effects of the first $pharma drug.
People are taking up to ten different $pharma drugs which create a practically unfathomable network of counter-acting symptoms ("side effects").. and ultimately LEAD TO DEATH (!)
The broken system of $pharma medicine is acknowledged by it's own AMA journal JAMA as the 3rd leading direct cause of death in the U.S.(and other industrialized nations)
-considering the fact that we're all aware of COVERUP (lies, non-reporting, etc) of $pharma medical malpractice, it should be no great surprise that those who are not receiving $pharma cash have independently discovered that the $pharma medical industrial complex is the #1 leading direct cause OF DEATH .. in "industrialized nations."

More on the ethical vacuum known as the $pharma medical industrial complex

And they denied this at first.

I guess you could deny this again, but, well...you did bash..

Hye dummy. I exposed this acupuncture nut as bashing medicine.

How you can deny what he wrote above is astounding.

But then again, you are a chiropractor after all. The honest answer to my post would have been. "You know Wisdom, you are correct. Bashing medicine is wrong". But NOPE....

Now empty it mr. bozo. Not a single honest bone in your body.

Simply astounding.

And then to call me a liar? Ha ha Oh wait, you bash medicine at every turn also. I see why you stick up for the other idiot.

Now empty it Mr Bozo. Not a single bit of credibility in your opinions.

I doubt if medicine appreciates any defense of medicine from unqualified dweebers like you Wisdump. I suspect they are just embarrassed to have someone like you on their side.

Man, you are pathetic. Totally.

The comments on this forum are sincerely disturbing?
The characters like wisdom are a complete joke.
I read posts here from time to time and people like wisdom seem to twist the truth?
Why in the world would anyone take any advise or even respond to that poster?
Things he states and some site chirotalk with such offensive images? Is truly a crime.
How could any healthcare professional like wisdom and his fellow posters claim to be, represent themselves as such trash?
I feel bad for a lot of you. I really do
If people like wisdom and his fellow posters think that for one moment they have any knowledge about medicine? Well that is a complete joke.
Please explain for me wisdom in detail all of the signs of a MI? Noting, what type of examination, one would perform with a patient presenting clinically with those symptoms? Also give us a tx plan and describe the newest lab tests for confirming a MI?
Also please, stop pretending to be someone you are not. No admin would accept an applicant like yourself to Med school. Also, you and your fellow posters would not even qualify for nursing. Can you imagine someone like yourself or you friends as nurses? That would be dangerous, very dangerous, a angry and threatening person like yourself in charge of a patients daily care plan.
HR 676 will change the course of medicine as we know it, forever. Some good and some bad. We will indeed have to work beside Acu/Chiro practioners in one way or another. That does not bother me one bit.
Your comments, Mr. wisdom about animals/peta are sick. I will pass the word about you and your buddies and their websites and the crap you guys post along with the images to all my fellow MS2 classmates. As this has proven you guys as totally unreliable for anything other than misleading crap.
Loving life, you have more friends that you know. If you do in fact do comedy shows for patients in hospitals, come on down to University of Miami Med school. We need more people life yourself. I always love Patch and the stories about him. Also wether you decide to become a MD or DC, you will be fine, as your heart will win patients over and the trust from people in medicine.
Also, wisdom, how is that someone disagreement with medicine is considered a basher? I thought that those individuals make the best scientific investigators?
Grow up wisdom, as your prove yourself to be exactly what loving life describes of you.
MS2 soon to be MS3

Yeah lifeboy, should you become a neurosurgeon or a back cracker?

Yeah, follow your heart. Ha ha What kind of fantasy land do you chiropractors live in?

Hey "medboy", I guess your panties are in a bunch like the rest of the quacks here because of a picture of a duck on "chirotalk".

Get over it.

But I do think there is hope for you. Glad you follow "chirotalk", the worlds greatest skeptical chiropractic website.

Dummy "medboy" asked me, "Please explain for me wisdom in detail all of the signs of a MI?"

Ummmm, no thanks.

Explain to me why chiropractors, in this day and age, claim to treat cancer and MS and Parkinsons. As you follow chirotalk, you have seen those chiropractic advertisements.

Medicine needs no defense from me. They save millions upon millions of lives every day. What they don't need, is more bashing from chiroquackers. Chiropractors are taught early on in their "education" to bash medicine as a way of justifying cracking backs to cure cancer.

The chiropractic diaper is full.

I'm guessing that you chose to become an activator clicker instead of a neurosurgeon?

Ha Ha Yeah, because you wanted to treat people "naturally"?

medboy is apparnently another chiropractic defender without actually knowing anything about chiropractic.

I love those types of posts. It exposes the ignorance in chiropractic better than I can.

Anyway, back to your colleagues that claim they treat cancer by clicking spines. ha ha

Please post some more of your "chiropractic treats cancer" claims.

You see, most people don't believe you quacks could possibly hold such views in this day and age.

Where id you get your clinical experience with cancer again mr. chiropractor? Oh wait, you had NONE.

Caught with your chiropractic pants down again.
