Editor's note and article is quite negatively biased. There has been relief and cure in many techniques such as Traditional Chinese Medicine [hard to find and not covered by insurance] and acupressure.
Mankind has been so smug that their research is all there is to life and there can be no more. Years ago the tonsils and the appendix both did nothing for the body so they were taken out often. Now medicine has learned more, upsetting the "research" that led to the original opinion. Have they now learned everything there is about the body and its healing? I have read specific research about what "herbals" and vegetables help which parts of cholesterol; some raised HDL and some reduced LDL. Guess those studies were useless and invalid, but my cholesterol was improved anyway. Keep an open mind; the Chinese and native cultures have used things for more years than Western medicine has been "alive." |
