Larry Glass is a hypocrite turd. Larry and my dad Harry Ponchode did so much cocaine when I was a young lad. Drinking, smoking, crank & screwing hookers just to name a few. Then he realized that his life sucked & became a clean & sober kind of Nazi. You know the type - If I can't do it, Than nobody can!!!!! Rock on hard on

Hey Smokers, this smoking thing is getting out of hand. Especially when your butts end up on the sidewalk.

I asked a smoker I know why so many smokers will just throw their cigarette butts (often still lit!) on the ground. He said because "they" haven't put in enough ashtrays. Not sure who the "they" are who are supposed to be doing this, but I've seen smokers standing no more than five feet from an ashtray throw their butts on the ground. Anyway, I suggested to him that if the problem is lack of ashtrays, that he could take one of those round mint containers where half the lid pops up to allow access to the mints, fill that halfway with sand, and then pop the lid closed again, and carry that in his pocket so that wherever he went he would have an ashtray. He looked at me like I was nuts for even suggesting that he carry around something to allow him to safely and cleanly dispose of his waste.

Air quality test results by Johns Hopkins University, the American Cancer Society, a Minnesota Environmental Health Department, and various researchers whose testing and report was peer reviewed and published in the esteemed British Medical Journal......prove that secondhand smoke is 2.6 - 25,000 times SAFER than occupational (OSHA) workplace regulations: http://cleanairquality.blogspot.com All nullify the argument that secondhand smoke is a workplace health hazard. Especially since federal OSHA regulations trump, or pre-empt, state smoking ban laws which are not based on scientific air quality test results. Mark Wernimont Watertown, MN.

sorry folks but the science doesnt support any smoking bans, just this morning an interviewer on bbc had a scientist trying to justify the ban and he couldnt do it,it left the news anchor crying foul,foul..........the worse the scientist said second hand smoke can be is if you have super bad asthma or you are very sensitive to any type of airborne matter. The entire world smoking ban theory is falling apart at the seams. The latest smoking studies sound more like moronic dribble from mentally retarded children than from any scientists.........Many leading medical research groups are seeking diferent funding for their respective groups rather than have to create studies that are less than truthful in order to maintain anti-tobacco funds comming in. These medical research groups feel they have been badly damaged by the fraudulent studies they have been forced to sign their respective names to,in order to satisfy anti-tobaccos zes for more tobacco prohibition. This is why we have been seeing studies that are beyond even rational thought as they are being put together by anti-smoking propaganda arms. The pulic is witnessing how decietful the anti-smoking groups have become and their political agenda to further reduce the rights of individuals and the public at large. the end of anti-tobacco is at hand as they try and further use irrational studies and propaganda on the worlds free peoples..........

I think Larry is a chump. He manages to get EPD manpower to guard the boardwalk- and yet those of us who PAY TAXES have our cars broken into on a regular basis and there's not a cop around, nor will they even come. I think Chump-Boy has shown his hand to be that of self centered, with no regard for the Citizens.
Larry needs to lose his job, and leave town- enough is enough!

Funny how the feds could train the dog people to pick up their dogs' crap all warm and squishy in a plastic baggie but get a smoker to be responsible with their butts. Not in the public service announcement budget because too many left wing politicians still smoke.

Why is it that instead of addressing the issue of litter, the issue turns to one of smokers?
If diabetics didn't dispose of their insulin needles properly, who would the gestapo go after? The individuals responsible, not diabetics as a whole...
Anybody who really thinks that the issue isn't one of personal bias really needs to rethink their position.

Smokers are going to kill us all...we're going to die because of second-hand smoke i think it is what really started the fires. Smokers that threw their butts on the ground, not lightening..
