I went after them as a parent...and the school for not informing the parents of what the blood was actually being used for. As a medical professional, I knew that there were no needs for blood for Katrina Victims, as their injuries, which were few, were not the kind that would require vast amounts of blood...either you survived the flooding, or you didn't...but it didn't require blood...
yes...this is a nasty ugly secret kept very quiet in this country, and no one does squat about it...
