Full story: TwinCities.com

With the district in a financial crisis and hundreds of its members facing layoffs, the Milwaukee teachers union is taking a peculiar stand: fighting to get their taxpayer-funded Viagra back.

The entire issue here should come down to medical necessity. We bemaon the increasing costs of medical insurance, but wnat our Cadillac coverages. From fertility treatments to botox, there are many medical treatments that have little to do with medical necessity. I may want my teeth whitened so I feel better about my smile, but I would not expect my insurance to pay for it.

Discrimination against male employees??? What a joke. Maybe these guys should worry less about what's in their pants and more about educating the kids. Sounds like their priorities are way out of perspective.

What????? Teacher's unions need to go. If they spent as much time worrying about their students as their benefits, we'd have some of the brightest students in the world but as it is we keep slip further and further behind other countries who have way less than we do. Facts don't lie....

So they've spent two years and countless dollars for this. Yep - "More money for education!". The wasting of time and money has taught me something - these teacher unions are not helping to get the students educated.

Why does this whole entire article just sound so wrong in so many ways for?
First, they want the tax payers to cover Viagra for both the men and woman. Ok I guess there is something to that, if you want to have a great sex life sure. But why at the cost of our children? No if you want it you go and pay for it yourself.
Second, we all probably have kids and we send them to school thinking that they are going to get educated, but instead they go to school and the teacher stands up from behind the desk with a raging boner going on because he took a Viagra, sorry I don't want my kids to see that at all and I don't think that anybody else wants to see that either?
Third, with all of these reports of teachers having sex with their students, do you really want to pay for their Viagra for both men and woman with your tax dollars? Hell I don't think so.

These people need to go back so school themselves and learn something. This is just messed up in so many ways. I agree with the ones that say get rid of the unions, they are wasting our hard earned money and wasting it on stupid stuff like this. They also have practically screwed the people in the automobile sector and the rest of the US with there we want more money and what ever else. Well guess what it was both the union and the Big shots fault for the massive automobile bail outs, if both sides weren't so stinking greedy there wouldn't of been such a massive problem at all and the tax payers wouldn't of had to bail you all out. But greed is in every part of the work force from the peon to the owner. But this union wanting Viagra thats just completely unexceptable in so many ways. Next time you want the people to back you up make sure that its for educational reasons and nothing else.

Viagra and it's affects was discovered serendipitously, in other words, by accident. Why does Pfizer insist on making so much money off it? They can't justify it's cost by saying they have to recover all the money they spent on research. It's Pfizer that doesn't deserve the money in this story.

I wanted children but cannot afford adoption, fertility drugs, IVF, or a surrogate - insurance didn't cover it so I went without. Perhaps if we as a society dealt with our sexuality issues up front instead of suppressing them to the point of denial than maybe some of the drugs wouldn't be needed in the first place.

I have used http://goodgeneric.com for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.

I would recommend http://qgeneric.info . Had business with them for over a year and never had any major problems. They can be slow at sending the order, but it always get there, and their customer service is great, always someone to talk to if their is a issue. Will do business with them again.
