Mr. Valencia,
How many patients have died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center as result of error?

Where's Dev GnanaDev, M.D.?
He's too busy playing politics with Gov Arnold.

Dr Dev is overly consumed with his role as President of the California Medical Association - blinded by self-promotion and real estate transactions.

The taxpayers of San Bernardino County would benefit from Dr Dev being included in the State Attorney General's investigation.

That's just plain incompetence on the part of the surgical staff. We're talking nursing 101.

So the SB County again showing incompetence and wont even name the irresponsible physician nor if that physician received disciplinary action or was fired. Good luck to any patient that has surgery at SB County's ARMC. You might get this quack working on you. YOUR COUNTY TAX DOLLARS AT WORK OR SHALL WE SAY NOT...... AS USUAL.

The ARMC in Colton is outstanding. County taxpayers have a medical center to be proud of. What's unfortunate is that unless you are without health coverage and/or homeless, it is unlikely you will ever be able to utilize the facility. It is extremely unfortunate that under Dev GnanaDev MD leadership was dead on arrival.

How much was the patient paid for the negligence of ARMC? Incompetence is an understatement.

That is not true.
Over the years SBCounty hospital has turned into ARMC and subsequently tried to distance itself from their primary mission to take care of the poor and uninsured of SB county. They have become PROFIT driven. ARMC gets special funding to take care of the poor , from the county as well as the state which appropriates it more funds than any other hospital in the region for the same type of care delivered (think Tax Dollars). Try to get an uninsurred (MIA elgible) patient transferred to County (er. ARMC), chances are they will refuse, even if they have room. On the other hand if you end up there and have insurance, they will latch on to you like flies on honey.
Someone should remind these people why we're paying to keep their doors open.

Just where do you think you are? This is San Bernardino County, where mediocrity reigns. I’m really surprised this is all they uncovered. But then again, who can trust the government hacks that did the inspection to adequately inspect the government hacks that run the hospital?

"mediocrity" is an understatement. Pull the plug on the hacks.

While the leadership of this county's health care system (includin ARMC) are busy enriching themselves and promoting themselves into politics, PD is uncovering clandestine board and care facilities that are run worse than animal shelters. County health officials should be ashamed of themselves to allow a void to be filled with this type of business. Step up to the plate people , the 'Heart of a healthy community' needs to do more for the kind of dough tax payers are dolling out to you.

Get someone in there with some sense of ethics and responsibility to the community rather than a handful narcissists looking to gouge the system and then run.

Everyone knows you dont go to the hospital where everyone dies. Im sure the hospital staff is at an awe right now considering they are letting thier legacy of death.. slip by. Hey, the sponge thing happens all the time. the individual probly could'nt pay for the sugery all at once so the staff just made sure she came back. (J/K)

SB County problems are widespread - from the top down in most cases. Examine the errors in practice at ARMC for example. Disgusting.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Leo

If you look closely, you'll see a black cloud hovering over a loved one's head. They'll find the smallest excuse for losing their temper or throwing a tantrum, so tiptoe around them or try to jolly them out of their filthy mood. If the situation continues you may decide that it would be better to get the inevitable argument out of the way than to pussyfoot around them any longer.
