H1-N1 can even take out the UFC/WWE paper champ.
Shogun should have not left it up to the judges.UFC has an agenda and they got to attract more Karate fans ....Just think theres more Karate for kids schools than MMA gyms.

I really have to question whether or not you are qualified to write a fight blog when I read things like Shogun "dominated the fight" or the "champ is running around afraid to engage and doing nothing but waiting to counter." I'm not sure what fight you were watching but that fight was extremely close and I didn't see ANY running. The decision could have gone to either fighter and it would have been justifiable either way. As far as fightmetric.com goes, it is an interesting system that attempts to put a scoring value to maneuvers performed during a fight. That being said, the input of maneuvers is based upon the human eye and an interpretation of what transpired. They get it right just as often as they get it wrong.

I say if wanted the belt you have to take it from the champ... can't wait for judges. Machida fights defensive not offensive... meaning of course it looks like he was running, he waits for you to make a mistake then makes you pay. I'm not saying Machida won the fights I'm saying he didn't loose it and decision in close fight ALWAYS goes to champ!

I believe Machida will NOT dodge a rematch, I will be dissapointed if he does, as BJ PENN said great fighters always want to fight the best fights on the biggest stage, if Machida wants to prove he's good he hast to fight the big fights... why not comeback and fight him again to end doubts?

"Also, Shogun has been medically suspended for 60 days for an upper lip laceration. Shogun? Nothing."

I'm thinking Machida has been suspended? Please clarify.

Machida and Shogun already agreed to fight again.

Looking for another really good blog for UFC, check this place out:

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/sports/ufc/20...

The blogger is Brett Okamoto from the Las Vegas Sun.

Not to take anything away from Billy, who I think is great too!

ESPN's article about UFC 104 judges and their background. According to the author the judges are regarded as the best in the game. Check it out.

UFC 104 Post Fight Video:

http://www.lasvegassun.com/videos/2009/oct/25...

Shogun talks about decision of the judges. Shogun is a classy guy. He never talks bad about anyone and is always humble.

Dana White talks about fight. I feel his comments were made to appease the crowd. He does not sound to convincing.

To say Shogun "dominated" this fight and Lyoto was "afraid" is a bit of a stretch.

But I think Billy is an old fan of Pride and a big fan of Shogun who was just dominate in Pride and striked fear in all those who fought him at the time.

I don't think either fighter really dominated. Both had good shots but I have to say there were a couple moments where Shogun got rocked pretty good. Machida didn't dominate Rua but he did have the upper hand one the quality of shots he gave Rua. I didn't think Shogun did much to take the belt by decision. He may have gotten a couple shots in that backed up machida but that's about it. Nothing that really rocked him. His best shots were his leg kicks and Machida did a good job of avoiding those for majority of the match

Robbed is not too harsh of a term, it's just the truth. Personally I find it refreshing when people say what they believe. Shogun was indeed robbed. If you have to decisively beat a champion to become champion, than how does everyone explain how Forrest ever became champ?

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
