Hmmm, that's a difficult one. Frankly, if the British Lion had been taken over by the nazis all those years ago, I wouldn't want to associate with it.

Being associated with it has nothing to do with the issue. The issue is whether freedom of speech exists, so that those who DO wish to be associated with it can do so in a free country. Having the freedom to choose whether to engage in certain speech is the issue.

I fully support free speech, unless it devolves into degenerate conduct like the public sex and nudity at gay "pride" parades.

FFS! Can't you get that homophobic venom out of your head, even in a totally unrelated topic? All you do is follow people around and trash every bl**dy post! You, Mr holier-than-thou, "I am going to heaven and everyone else is off to hell because they don't follow my one exclusive religion". being an Evangelist is not like having a gold card that you can flash in front of St Peter and get into the aftershow party, for chrissakes.
I worked and lived in Brighton - the gay capital of England - in my 20's, and never saw any of this "sex and nudity" at the Gay Pride marches that you seem to find. Or is it after you have been hanging around the men's toilets waiting to get picked up that you get to see a bit of action?

You really are a dumb-ass. I was simply standing up for free speech, while at the same time explaining why I oppose gay pride parades (which has been a bone of contention on this site for the past year, ever since demented homosexuals invaded it). It is you who have the martyr complex.

"being associated with it has nothing to do with the issue".... that is directly opposing what I said! Everything I post in this topic, you have to come along and say the opposite.....and then throw something homophobic into the mix if you can. Oh, and with a nice big helping of some Evangelism to top it off. So much for your free speech!

That is because you cannot understand simple English. You need to move to a non-English speaking country, so that you have an excuse to appear so ignorant.

You stated: "Frankly, if the British Lion had been taken over by the nazis all those years ago, I wouldn't want to associate with it."

I said: "Being associated with it has nothing to do with the issue," meaning that whether or not you are associated with it is irrelevant one way or the other. The unbridled right to speech is what is important, not what is being said or displayed.

Of course, if you cannot think rationally, none of this matter, does it?

I understand what you said... so they are on about free speech, and their right to fly a swastika because it s part of their culture.... I KNOW THAT!

I merely passed comment that I wouldn't want to fly a flag with our British Lion if the nazis had used it as their emblem back in the war. That is my feeling on the subject. How is that ignorance? And why is it irrelevant? And why must you dissect everybody's every comment?

Go ahead and name just one racist statement that I have ever made. I dare you! I merely tell the truth. Ignorant people use the race card to squelch debate. This has become an artform of radical leftists in the U.S. The answer is to simply call them out and make them prove their absurd allegations.

So, go ahead and name just one racist statement that I have ever made in this forum. If you cannot, then shut your ugly commie pie hole.

Anyone who is an avowed communinist in this day-and-age is either an ignorant ass or mentally ill. You certainly seem to fit the bill on both counts. And that is also the truth.

According to the freedom of speech, he could state what he wants. And he states the legit thoughts. Cause As you can see my dear Rima, our gov. has already ruled out, that this is NOT considered a nazi simbol in Lithuania. But just an emblem. There are plenty. And as it looks to me, you live in Nottingham but you still did not grow out of the communism. Which we disregard. And you should as well. Cause it invaded your ass as well as your nation. So yeah. If you dont like. What was legitimately proven in Lithuanian courts you can fuck off even though you are a Lithuanian. And if you dont follow whats being passed on in Lithuania. Then you betrail your own country.

Communism does not exist in Baltics for around 30 years. Cause we wrecked it. And you should be thankful for your country to get out of it. Otherwise you would be living in Plunge on 1dollar a day. Rima you are pretty mentaly ill outdated. I guess.

Hope this link works.... look at the comments under this article - many from Lithuanians. The swastika is not sitting comfortably with them, because of its assosiation with Nazis. Nobody in Europe would want anything to do with a symbol of the nazis. You can take free speech too far. Would it be ok for the Black Shirts to start marching through the streets of Germany once more, and asserting their right to free speech?

I think that you meant brownshirts. If you did, they are already marching in the streets. The memebers of the homosexual movement are the heirs to the Nazi movement, having occupied top positions of power in the Nazi Party hierarchy (including the number two position, in Ernst Rohm). Eminent historians have documented this fact, including William Shirer in "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich." Also read "The Pink Swastika."

Today, they are once again marching through the streets and forcing their views upon society through threats, intimidation, intolerance, and a complete disrepect for the views of normal people. These are the same tactics that they used decades ago in the Third Reich.

Its all very similar, and pretty incestuous to my mind. All cut with the same cloth. I don't profess to study all things to do with the War.

Interesting that you can manage to bring your hatred for homosexuals into a talk about Nazis.... you really are obsessed, arn't you?

Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. There should be an exam of very basic knowledge (e.g., name of current President, Senator, Congressman, structure of government, and basic Constitutional rights) before people are allowed to vote.

It is disheartening to see that the idiots who decide how to vote on the day of the election (because they don't know what is going on) usually decide elections. This applies no matter who is elected. Countries are run by fools because they are elected by fools.

Why would you NOT know who the brownshirts were, who the blackshirts were, and how and why the Nazi Party in Germany was infested by homosexuals? Do you think that this might provide some historical perspective on what is going on today -- or what it might mean for tomorrow?

On how it might affect your children or future generations? On how open homosexuality in a culture is always a key indicator (on of many factors) of the decline of a civilization? You might want to ponder upon these things, amongst many others.

People love to wallow in their ignorance and then blame others when the rather obvious outcome of their actions (or inactions) occurs.

At least they do the job, in cleanning them.
