You love, love, love ME....I'll bet you print my posts and put them all over your bedroom wall. Your lesbian obsession with me is so painfully obvious. Sorry, RN, but I like men. I know you're heartbroken, but you'll get over it.

Thank you for clarifying. I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I'm not a racist; I have respect for every race on this planet and I consider every race to be equal. To me, a racist is someone who not only dislikes certain races, but one who feels those races are inferior. Webster's dictionary defines racism as:

-a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

So I thought about your comment for a while, and even after being completely honest with myself, the truth is that I don't harbor any ill will towards any race, so I wholeheartedly disagree with your comment. To me, saying that everyone has a bit of racism in them is condoning racism. Being a hateful bigot or racist is not natural, or in our DNA as some would suggest-it's a choice. You can choose to hate someone based on their race, or what others have told you about that race; or you can use common sense, rationality and judge people on an individual basis.

But maybe we're confusing racism for another term? Maybe its not that ALL people have a little racism in them, but I would agree that maybe we all stereotype, which is much different than being racist. What are your thoughts on that?

<quoted text>No i think u misunderstood me there. I didnt mean to imply that people are racist because they stay in their own groups. I just meantt that people stay in their own groups. And i believe that all people have some sort of racisim in them. Sorry if i confused u there. I sometimes get to rambling and run sentences together sorry./

i think u might be right. I think it might be more of streotyping than racisim. I of course do not speak for all but for my own beliefs. I will be honest. I if given a choice would rather never have anything to do with people who are Arab or are of Arab descent. Now that dosent mean if im in a grocery aisle that i will knock down or curse, or mutter under my breath or anythign like that. But i would go to great pains to not be around one. Racism? stereotyping? I dont know.

Wow, really? I'd venture to think that most Arabs in your area aren't even thinking about you, while you're "going to great pains to not be around one". To each his own, I guess.

While driving, I noticed a senior citizen in my rear view mirror pulling up behind my car yesterday. My reaction? I QUICKLY switched lanes and waited for them to pass me before I switched back. My stereotypical views of senior citizens makes me very paranoid on the open road, LOL.

Daily Horoscope for November 8

Scorpio

It'll be easier to express yourself, once Mercury enters your first house of personality: difficulties in personal relationships will begin to clear as the lines of communication are opened. Don't be afraid to say what you think or feel; it's natural for the Scorpion to be a speaker of truth. You'll have a much better understanding of your own truths in the coming days.
