Dale Moneypenny's competence to stand trial debated during hearing

I really don't know what to think. I've known Dale for years and i can't believe he would do something like this. Me and him dated for 4 yrs off and on. We were going to hang out the next day after it happened. We were broke up at the time but we still talked. I didn't know that other girl was with him or i wouldve went up there and came and got him before it happened and he wouldn't even be there. I have always wanted to ask him why he done it for. what was the reason of killing two inocent men. I will always love Dale even though he has totally done something wrong and messed up his life. He was always good to me and there for me when i needed him. I think he should stand trial. So we can see why he done what he done and hurt so many people

Eddie Poynter was my friend. I had been his sponsor in AA for a few years. He had come to visit me in San Francisco a few times. Just because you drink and do drugs doesn't mean you are not culpable for your actions. Eddie DID drink; Eddie DID do drugs -- but, he got sober -- over and over again. There is NO EXCUSE for cold blooded, pre-meditated "burn the freakin house down and then go kill the only other person who could identify you" murder.
Period.

Why is it that the State and Attorneys have no problem convicting drunk drivers that kill people ? What dale moneypenny did is much worse that getting behind the wheel of a car and killing a couple of people. He talked his way into Eddies house with his girlfriend, and then waited until Eddie went to bed before he STABBED HIM SEVERAL TIMES -- and then, SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE.

Maybe the state should allow mr moneypenny to just "take a lot of drugs" before he is executed. THAT WOULD BE A FAIR SENTENCE

ok linda i dont know if you were talking about me or not but if so i never talked bad about dale i love dale wiht all my heart i dont know if he ever talked about me to you or not but all i know is if you dont think he done it why do you think he is in there for then and he ran when he heard if he didnt do it why did he run and go to miami because he was scared that boy isnt scared he has been in jail alot of times before this happened boyd co knows him by name dale is a good guy and i will always love him but if he didnt do it why is he in there then???

Dale Moneypenny took someone who was very dear to our family away from us--IN COLD BLOOD! Then he proceeded to rob him, after he left a knife in his back. My uncles apartment was trashed. My uncle was a very gentle man, who never hurt anyone. How can you say your brother didn't hurt anyone?

Well this is what i think about the situation. dale is a piece of shit who should rott in prison for hundreds of yearrs or hey should give him the needle, the family of the victom should not have to go through something like this no one sgould, I have know dail for like 3 years and he has always been a dope head and he got what a peice of shit like him should have got. So all I can so is u will get what u deserve in prison.And a piece of shit like you deserves to die so have fun with that needle in your arm you piece of shit and your whole family is pieces of shit for saying you didnt do it well got to go lata.

Okay who ever posted tht is rude.Dale is my cousin and i have never met him but my parents told me he use to always come over.And for saying his whole family is a piece of shit? how can u say something about people u dont know.dude get a clue.My family never talks about this.So i think you should shut the hell up before you talk about something u dont know shit about his family.

idk who billy finley is but for one u dont know dales whole family cuz i never meet u and im the closest to him out of all 7 of us kids my brother may did wrong but why did the female that was with him only get 5 yrs he got life he will never see his 3 beautiful kids grow up or his neices and nephews that he always held close when he was home yeah he always said they let me out cuz they know they will get me on bigger thing but murder i would never think my brother could do something like this.... what i think is something had to happen that night that we will never know about the female that was with him should speak out and let people know what happen
