Cause of tot's death to take more time

It is hard to imagine that a 2 1/2 year old could get her 18 month old brother to go out and get into a van in the middle of the night. Hope there will be more investigation about this matter, and why did the mother not find them until 9:00 or 9:30. Hope they check what time the mother came in during the night.

I know of the mother of these children and i believe she most likely was on prescription drugs . This is just the lifestyle she has ever since i have known her and i hope she doesnt get away with forgetting about her children while she was in a stupor.

She could just claim insanity, like Andrea Yates. Works good for women.

If you know the mother and what she does while her children are with her, why did you not report her or did you not want to get her or someone mad at you.

You should point, shout, holler, scream, DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN!

She killed her son and lives in grange city with her daughter from the posts she wrote in the hillsboro thread!!She needs shot!!Or locked in a trunk till she dies.Her daughter did not pack her son out there.She took them out partying and they were asleep when she got home late at night.She did not want to wake them so she left them in the van.She went inside passed out and when she woke up she went out to check on the kids and the little girl was laying in the van's floor the boy was in his car seat dead.She put him in a stroller while he was dead and pushed him up the road to her moms house!That is the sickest thing I ever heard in my life!!!!!

I think she needs punished because whenever u r a mother your life doesn't evolve around u it evolves around ur babies and she shouldve been grown up and responsible enuf to leave her children with her parents or someone trustworthy if she knew she was going to be high or drunk or whatever she was.I am a mother of three also from Grange City and it breaks my heart into pieces to think about a child dying.I sometimes see her at the courthouse and i can't stand to look at a murderer and thats what she is she knowingly put her children at harm knowing she shouldve took them somewhere safe if she was to get messed up but she'll probably get off hook cause they have money or she didn't know what she was doing because she was on dr. prescribed meds or insanity or some lame exxcuse to get out of it so she can go on with her life and her little boy is a lifeless soul gone for ever.thats how i feel

She was posting in the hilsboro topix saying she was sitting there holding her little girl.I can't believe she has the girl after she tried to kill her and made her sit there in the van while her baby brother was dieing.I wonder what all the little girl went through while the baby boy died!!

I agree 100%. When we have children, our life is no longer ours, but our childrens. I just hope the child did not suffer much.

I didn't here about this. How is it that the 18monthold died and the 2 1/2 yr old didn't? My heart breaks for these children. And I do hope that justice is served with this case. Mother's are getting away with murder way too much!

A little bit after the baby died and i guess they must have let her out on bond{last yr} she was out running around town and acting like she never had a care in the world and working at the Preston courtday acting as if her life were happy and completely normal.That was right after it happened and i'm sorry but being a mother of 3 if something happened to one of mine a piece of me would be dead forever.It would take a long time for me to smile and laugh and i would want to isolate myself and not be all happy especially if it were part my fault i don't know if i could go on and live

This happened a while back. She got 7mths,and then was made to go to rehab and then they turned around and gave her daughter back! And the reason why one made it and the other didnt was because one un buckled itself and theother one couldnt get out of its car seat and sit there suffering while she was inside passed out on xanax!I think she should have been hung!!!

i heard someone take up for her and said well she had a drug problem she didn't realize what she had done well its like this if u gonna be out knowing u are gonna be messed up or u are not capable of taking care of your babies take them somewhere where they can be took care of while u waste your life but that didn't happen and look what happened

when you become a parent you at that moment have to be completely selfless for your child/children and i do not mean after you have it but as soon as u know u r pregnant. I'm not saying give up yourself completely I'm just saying be more responsible about taking care of your kids if you know u r going out to get wasted u need to make sure that your kids have everything they need and you can have a good person that will watch them for the night that will tack good care of them I'm not saying its good to leave your kids to party but if your going to do it you need to take precautions to insure your child's health first and there needs and if you have the extra money. i guess I'm just trying to say put your kids first before anything and any one including yourself.

I don't care if it is 50 years from now I will never forget it.The first time I met her She came into my house crying said her doctor cut off her medicine and she was having a real bad panick attack.I also have them and am prescribed medicine for them.My boyfriend knew her I did not.He gave her 1 of my pills.She sat at my table with her head in her hands rocking back and forth.About 20 minutes later she was talking almost normal and about all the way calmed down.She said she could not drive any farther when she arived.I told her to go to the hospital,and asked if she knew anyone that would drive her.I even offered to drive her myself.She said she would have her mom take her.She said that her mom was making her work at mandolin farms that night and said that she just could not do it.I told her she needed to get into comprehend or some counseling she agreed also.I asked if she was ok to drive or if she wanted me to take her home she just lived a few miles from my house.She said she was ok to drive then suddenly said I bet you have never seen my son talking to my boyfriend.I was shoked!!I told her that it was ok to bring the kids in.It was the middle of summer before the boy died It was close to 100 degrees that day. she was driving a car at the time.She said it was ok they was sleeping.I was still shoked.I told her I would love to see her son.When we got to the car it was iddeling and the air was on the kids were not sweating bad,but I know of a million dangers this posed to the kids.Both the boy and girl were in the back seat sleeping looking drousey they looked at me.I wil never forget that day.I should have hit her in the face called the law something.My boyfriend just said that her mom and dad take care of the kids and her ex's that she don't keep them much.I felt a little better at the time,but now I wish that I would have taken that extra step.It really hit me hard when I heard the little boy died in the van I could just see little Caleb drousely looking up at me in the back of that car.I do not know why they trust her around her daughter if it has just been 2 years why is she even walking free?Seems like it is all about who you know in that county.Poor Caleb is dead and she is mentaly all better??I am afraid not.If you would have seen the shape she was in when I seen her.I do not understand why she is not locked up and how she is allowed to parent?Can someone please justify this to me?????
