A man who can justify mass murder of innocent life should be president?

Full story: Free Republic

I'm sorry folks, but a man who can justify and rationalize in his own mind the wholesale slaughter of innocent human life can justify any kind of evil whatsoever.

They are part of a collective and can't be reasoned with; like the Borg...only without the cool looking implants.

What baffles me the most is that one of the main gripes of the extreme, AND UNINFORMED right, is that crap about socialist health care.

What they find convenient to forget, is that the GOP couldn't come up with an alternative plan to Obamacare, because their alternative plan WAS OBAMACARE, which was initially tought out by former President George H.W. Bush, and submitted to the house for approval. It didn't make it then.

Go figure. Only in America can a Democratic President can be accused of being a Socialist by the GOP, for proposing the GOP's own health care plan.

They don't actually have a problem with the health plan. They have a problem with the person assumed to be issuing it. Had Bush implimented the same plan during his run, they would have all praised him for it.

What really cracks me up is the self-proclaimed "conservatives" that say they're going to move to Canada to escape the new health care system in the states.

Since you're making an affirmative assertion and the burden of proof is on you, I would have to believe you would have some form of empirical proof of that statement.

Let's see it.

OBAMACARE
No, no, no. I asked for empirical proof. I don't know how old you are, or how witty you are, but what is known as Obamacare, was actually a proposal from former President George H.W. Bush, in the early 90's, before Clinton took office, AFTER, Bush had lost the election.

When Obama unveiled his healthcare plan, the GOP was supposed to come up with an alternative. You know why they didn't? Because their alternative WAS OBAMACARE.

So, go back to your pastor, priest or deacon and ask them "what do I say now," because they know as little as you do.

So, now that you've been educated in political issues of the sensitive kind, FaFonzy, explain to me, like if I was a 6 year old, how can it be that a Democratic President can be called Evil and a Socialist by the GOP and the turd tea party, because he actually implemented a health care plan that was designed by the GOP?

Go on, I'll wait.

I'm not a Republican and have not been a Republican for nearly 3 decades. I'm a Libertarian (I cling to my God, my guns, and my beer). I don't care WHICH POTUS originally proposed OBAMACARE. Evil is Evil. OBAMACARE is Evil.

And please pint out in the U.S Constitution where it says the federal government has the right to force OBAMACRE down the throats of unwilling Americans.

And because of OBAMACARE, for the FIRST time in American history, we now have to pay a federal tax BY VIRTUE OF OUR MERE EXISTENCE. This is Evil.

Are you aware that this very same plan has been employed by every other developed country for more than a decade, and nobody has gone broke because of it?

I've personally lived in a country for eleven years now, that uses the same system. My husband and I don't have a lot of money, but we aren't leeches and when we need medical care, we get it. We have no private plan so we are taxed. We get our money out of it. When we fall sick, we get the care we need. We can't afford a premium insurance plan but we do pay for what we get, and we can be assured that we will always have medical care when we need it.

What this really boils down to is that people with money don't want to share their hospitals with people who don't. Not only that, but they want to pick and choose what other people can get covered on their own plans. Women are struggling to get birth control covered on plans that THEY PAY FOR because these religious giggities think they have some authority over their personal lives.

When are you jokers going to start protesting the money people put into premiums for men's boner pills?

Let go of your pride.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Leo

This is a good day for concentrating on activities that boost your self-esteem and sense of satisfaction. Do the very best job you can manage, partly for your own sense of pride and partly because it's important for you that bosses and superiors know what you're capable of. There should be good news about a pay rise, perk or a new job that's in the pipeline.
