And don't it get to you that this is the place where most of your tax money goes. They forgot about the outlaying area's years ago.

I've been downtown Indianapolis hundreds of times most recently 22 hours ago and I've never once been harassed. For you to get it three times in one night suggests that you are either telling a fib or you're somehow drawing unnecessary attention to yourself.

Certain times of the weekend there are young black people that take over.

If by drawing attention to yourself you mean not looking like you crawled out of the gutter, well then I'm sure this couple to try harder to speak in Ebonics and wear their pants around their knees.
Sorry to hear that

I hate that you had this happen to you. People can be soo MEAN & CRUEL when they
want to be. And they can be very insulting too. I know , & I've seen alot of it lately.
Sometimes your family can be worse than anyone else you know...i like going downtown and I hope it never happens to me. Or to anyone else either....

Before I said that I have never been harassed downtown. On second thought that is not entirely true. About a year and a half ago I was downtown with my girlfriend. An aggressive panhandler approached her and asked for change. I stepped in his path, put a forearm in his chest, told him I don't think so. Despite the fact that I don't wear saggy pants or speak Ebonics he walked away.

I had dinner last night with a friend around 11pm at Scotty's Brewhouse and there was a 45 minute wait to get a table. If you're too cowardly to walk the streets of downtown Indianapolis then the problem is with you, not with the neighborhood.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Pisces

Happily, the atmosphere starts to lighten today, leading to a much more comfortable time. You'll also find it easy to get on well with other people, which will come as a big relief. You may even be able to make amends for what happened yesterday and reach some sort of agreement at long last. If you're going to a social event you'll have a really good time.
