Smooth from ELP wrote: <quoted text> First and most importantly thank you for serving in the military and fighting in Desert Storm. With all due respect sir...HEll on earth does not compare to the eternal Hell "Someone" is talking about. For those that do not make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior (John 3) there will be two deaths, a physical death and a spiritual death. The spiritual death is being thrown in the pit of fire for eternity with no hope of relief. HEll is not a 24/7 365 day party that Hollywood portrays. Take it easy man and think about long term consquences to your eternal life. For those that do have made Jesus Lord of their life will only die once. And being absent from the earthly body is being in the presence of the Lord forever. Thanks for serving again!!! Beautifully explained. Your always proud of the people who serve your country but not in this case, he obviously suffered some kind of brain damage, he is sick and you can only feel sorry for people who are lost and will not have eternal life. There is always hope, we can only pray for people like him.

Give it a rest, Chico's tacos, will always be Chico's tacos, I grew up on those. Red or green sauce, it is hard to duplicate even if you try.

being from el paso we grew up eating chicos tacos. we live now in austin, went to 10th street tacos, and believe me there is no comparison what so ever. 10th street tacos are great quality, different choices of meat, beer specials, different types of entertainment. they have an extensive menu, and to know that these guys came from el paso, we should feel proud that they are succeeding here in austin and be happy for them, but bottom line 10th street tacos are better!!!!!!

This has been my point all along. The Moras should take notes and maybe change up their resturant format in the future. Yes we are proud of them from breaking away and making something of themselves.

Great! I think my husband and I will head out there and try it. Maybe the name is what they should change since it sounds similar to Chicos Tacos. Both my husband and I have been looking for a really good Mexican Rest. here in Austin, not Tex Mex.

10th Street Tacos wrote: <quoted text> The lawsuit was in progress because they claimed our names were too similar and people would not be able to tell the difference between the two. People who came in to eat knew we were not Chico's, they just wanted to see if our taquitos were any good. At any rate, our names are now nothing remotely alike. I am trying to get in contact with the owner's. I have an idea and possible solution. If you are interested, my email is bkelley7@austin.rr.com . I am not a lawyer, just a fan of your taco's and my family hated to see you go, if you are gone or just under remodling as posted.

Christ. This is the BIGGEST thing going on for El Paso. The Longhorns versus Miners game and Chico's Tacos. Sigh. What is worse is the followers of Chico's Tacos actually taking it to the heart. I wish people would read more, offer more than just tacos and weekends at the Union Plaza to drink as well as Friday nights at Cincinnati. El Paso should invest more time and money in festivals. For example, that time they did that Street Festival when Trapt and Papa Roach performed, it was well done. Yes, for people to be in their Nirvana and die peacefully, they should have a Chico's Tacos stand in events like these. I assisted and was surprised how packed it was. Reason being, El Paso doesn't have that many activities like these of "high caliber/magnitude." They should be done at least once a month. Maybe that would boom a little tourism. I am not talking about no "Fiesta de las Flores." Only the people are the ones that can bring a change, but for some reason, the majority of people in El Paso are conformist and are hard-core Hedonists waiting for other people to take action for them. Do not get me wrong, I am not saying everybody, but the majority. To whoever took their time to read this, kudos. If you're going to respond with an ignorant comment, don't bother waiting to get a response, but if you share an educated opinion, I'll respond. If I had an option, I would ban Chico's Tacos. Maybe that would give the opportunity for El Paso to be known for something else besides these lame tacos. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and that is my opinion...

Damn, you wrote exactly what I was thinking. El Pasoans arr making the UTEP-Texas game seem like the biggest event ever to hit this city. What's going to happen after Texas totally destroys our craptacular Miners? Miner fans probably will drown their sorrows in Chico's soggy flautas. I love El Paso. I just don't like the small-town mentality of my fellow citizens.
