“Apart from the veg not turning up, the beef being fatty and the chicken undercooked, it was fine”
WHAT a difference a year makes. This time 12 months ago, I'd enjoyed a fantastic Sunday Scran at the Blue Bell Inn at Crookham, Northumberland, seven years after my first visit there. via Sunday Sun

The food we enjoyed at the Blue Bell, Crookham, was well cooked, well presented and of excellent quality. We offered our compliments to the chef and management for their professional, and genial approach.

The Bluebell Inn went bust last summer. Mark & myself had to do a runner and it has remained empty ever since. If it ever re-opens the new owners should make sure they bar Colin "cuntface" Patterson from the premises.

Please be aware that the comments above do represent those of myself or my wife, Whilst we have a pretty poor opinion of Mr Patterson and his tactics, the terminology is spiteful. Nathan and I did not "do a runner" since Nathan was rarely in attendance. I was "ousted" by the board of Ambient Inns Limited

Why are these UK people posting here. I don't intend to travel to the UK. No money due to dubya's mistakes.

It is still empty almost 16 months later, but I expect Colin "cuntface" Patterson couldn't give a toss about the people he put out of a job. Poor Mark hasn't been the same since and was last heard of cooking up Mutton Stew in a Mongolian Buddhist temple.

There is nothing wrong with my Mutton Stew Nathan, the monks travel from afar to sample it.

Well what a difference 4 years makes. Now April 2012 and this pub has now reopened after a very long period of closure. The new management certainly have made tis one of the best pubs to visit in north Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Fantastic selection of real ales, food to die for, and apparently the accommodation is top notch too. Well worth a vist - just a shame this thread is sooo put of date!!! Ps phone number is now 01890 820789 and www.bluebellcrookham.co.uk
