Hello wrote: <quoted text> Obama forgot numbers 3, 4 and 5: He was taken out of context, he was misquoted, and he misspoke. But never, never, ever would he admit he was doing exactly what he did do, play the race card. While I understand what everyone may be saying about his line, I have to admit that, before he said it, I thought the same thing. He doesn't look like an old white guy (none of the prez on the bills are young and Obama definitely looks more modern and different-for lack of a better word-than the presidents on the bill). For better or worse, many folks want different. To be truthful, I imagine there are those who don't care what that difference means, as long as it doesn't mean what we've had for the last few years. Even if McCain is our next president, I still hope we have a difference! A change! Something better than what we have!

I get it that other leftist folks are using McBush and other not-great terms for McCain. I am not. You're welcome to use either Obamma or Obammy but I wanted to let you know that I didn't appreciate it. I don’t need to go after Barack Obama with names; there are so many policy issues I’d rather focus in on. I’ll guarantee you though, as the campaign continues, both sides will probably go negative to some extent but it will be the left that will whine the loudest. Look at what the left did to General Petraeus, here is an American hero who had important and legitimate things to tell the American people and we had these anti war clowns try to shout him down and call him General Betrayus. These are the same people who’ll scream for free speech as long as you agree with them, if not, then they’ll shout you down.

Calling Obammy a "Half-Rican American" is just constructive criticism, I guess.

For what it's worth I was totally disgusted by that Moveon org's ad depicting General Petraeus as General Betrayus. I thought it was a cheap shot and completely out of line.
