I have family living in GA but not tell them to get clay for me they would not understand. I love mutt and Jeff the majority of their clay was good.

I want to take a trip to Georgia myself. Can u imagine having access to all that dirt......I would pack a suit case full......LOL!!!! I've gt to order some and see if it has the same taste as I remember. I wish I had the courage to purchase like 10 boxes of cornstarch at one time. Dump them into a container and just enjoy myself.......talking abt cornstarch overload!!!!!!!

Swabbi I heard there's a place called Aurbun market that sells white dirt. Any gas station or general store will have it I'm sure. Georgia is known for kaolin aka white dirt

I can't believe it - earlier today, for the first time, I got the urge to eat baby powder. Weird, because I know some people eat or have eaten it but I've tried it before (just to see what it was like) and didn't like it at all.
The funny thing is even as I was about to put it in my mouth I was thinking I wasn't going to like it but I did. That was a couple of hours ago, and I got a craving for it just now so had some more.
I'm wondering if this new craving is because I'm all out of clay. I don't want to get hooked on baby powder so I'm going to resist (I'm going to get some cornstarch now) but just thought I'd share this with you all.
Anybody else ever suddenly get cravings for things they haven't craved before? If any of you eat or have eaten powder, any side effects?
Thanks.

The clay you are eating is being rejected by your bdy ,stop eating it.I used to eat the clay from Ghana and get rashes on the softer parts of my body like the insides of my arms and thighs. There is definitely some mineral element in the clay not being absorbed by your blood.Good luck!

I eat Georgia clay on a daily basis, I buy it from the gas station. I think I eat too much but I can rarely go a day without eating it.....I would not make it lol but I think I need to stop because its making bowel movement difficult for me (it hurts) but I'm never constipated...I think its from heavy consumption

You may also need to drink a lot of water. Some one on here suggested drinking grapefuit juice. That my help. Having such great access to it can cause one to over do it. But I do wish that it was right at my finger tips. Hope you have success.

I know there are people who are just as addicted to powder as we are to clay so I will be careful. I haven't had any more even though I woke up in the middle of the night really wanting some. I think the reason has to be because I don't have clay. As you say, when we're without we get desperate to satisfy ourselves (I won't tell you all some of the things I've tried). Strange thing is I have cornstarch here and DE so I'm not totally without, but the urge just came on me to try the baby powder and to my surprise I really liked it. I thought it was strange because (even though it is white, dry and powdery) I have tried it before and didn't like it at all. The baby powder that I have is cornstarch based (I would not eat talc). I'm going to leave it alone, because I like natural things as far as possible, but thought I'd bring this to the forum to see if others had ever had new cravings develop out of nowhere. I had asked the forum before on suggestions for the best clay that can be ordered online from the U.S. and would appreciate suggestions. I'm looking for clay where all or most of it is good and not just random pieces (so expensive to ship I don't want to make mistakes). Or if in powder form (either kaolin or any other type edible clay) can someone recommend what they think is the best that makes nice solid chunks with some earthy taste. Thanks

Thanks I order mine from http://www.sunclaytherapy.com/product_claybox... . It comes in powder form and I bake it. then i put it in a paper bag and let it sit for a couple of days. and it taste so good. But I am going to have to cut down because it makes me break out and my skin itches. so far i haven't had any and i am going crazy and mouth is watering.
