Hi everyone! No white dirt yet but purchased another box of cornstarch. This time I'm using a straw.....yummy!!!!!! Ima tell u using a straw the cornstarch goes a lot faster.......for some reason it taste better. Again I purchased the Walmart brand. Speaking of Walmart there was no Argo cornstarch on the shelf. I was like now I know all that cornstarch missing was not for baking......LOL!!! Enjoying my cornstarch.......

Hello, tell me, do you eat your fuller's earth in lumps/chunks or in powder form?

I've seen some delicious looking fuller's sold in lumps, but only on Indian sites. Wish I could find some sites in the U.S. that sell it like that, but only see the powder. I like my stuff chunky!

Hi mzlibra!

I haven't had any cornstarch today, but reading your post makes me want some and luckily I have some left. I'll just have a spoon or two, then think I'm going to put the box in the freezer. I've been going easy on it, thought I would have been almost finished the box but it's still about half full.

Interesting what you say about all that cornstarch missing...you're probably right. I wish I knew others here that ate it and other 'stuff', but I don't. I've heard about a few people craving chalky things when pregnant, but that's about it. I can't be the only one, lol! Statistically speaking there must be others, but I guess they conceal it (like I do, for the most part).

So happy about this site so I can 'talk' to others like me.

Hope your test results good, wish you all the best.
I know how worrying it could be. I worry sometimes, especially when I try a new clay, wondering whether it contains anything harmful. Still doesn't stop me eating it though. I am very careful where I eat, food hygiene etc.(word we use here is scornful) but I'd take clay from wherever I can find it when I don't know who has handled it or if their hands were clean, whether it came from a clean place or what it could possibly be contaminated with. Shows the power of this type addiction (which is what I suppose it is).
Lololol!!! I have stopped worrying about the handling of clay ie if it's been contaminated or not.... after all it is 'soil' we are eating...!:)
My results are out next week Friday, so will let you know..... Fingers crossed... No Lead!!!! Lol

Oh, Worried Clay Addict, how long has it taken the supplements to work to ease the cravings?
Actually after a couple of days or so...!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I actually went 4 straight days without clay or the thought of it!!!!
In fact, it feels like Its out of habit rather than craving....!!!
Also check ur blood levels, I was found to be anaemic hence the GP placing me on the supplement...!
A common belief amongst people from the eastern part of Nigeria is that Nzu is linked to Anaemia in people who are addicted to it....basically if your body is lacking Iron, the craving for Nzu will be profound and persistent...

Hi all,
I haven’t been on here in I while. But I did say I would try and stop eating the Clay and DE mix and inform you of the results.
It didn’t work. I found I was just going back to eating the same sugary and oily foods that caused the clay cravings. So, eating raw foods and the ‘normal cooked foods’ was not helping my cravings.
Thank the Lord, I found something great and encouraging.
Fasting.
During the Easter holiday I went on a 7 day fast. I only drank water for 7 days – no food at all. I did some research and found out that water fasting allows the body to reset, replenish and heal itself. As it’s not using most of its energy on digestion. After the fast I ate mono meals of one type of fruit. Day 1 after fasting I ate a very small amount of water melon 3 times during the day. Day2 I ate water melon for breakfast and dinner and tomatoes for lunch. Day 3 I ate grapes and tomatoes. I gradually increased the portion sizes. I also began to include more raw fruits and veg. I had simple salad – no dressing – of tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. Then I included more raw foods like olives, nuts, dried fruit, raw crackers, raw bread, raw biscuits. Finally I added vegan cooked foods like sausages, burgers, cheese (dairy free). Whole grain foods, pasta, and different grains like spelt flour, quinoa, millet, bulgar wheat etc.
It has now been about 7 weeks after I completed the 7 day fast and praise Jesus, I have not craved or eaten any clay, DE, chalk whatsoever. The Lord has given my body the chance reset itself. I feel like my body has a clean slate. And I’m only putting ‘clean, natural, pure foods’ in it and not ‘dirty foods’ to dirty the ‘clean slate’.
I am now more conscience of what foods I put in my body. I have replaced a lot of food.
Before fast: dairy chocolate, crisps, cooked foods, processed carbohydrates, fruit, veg,
After fast: raw chocolate, raw crisps, mainly raw foods, vegan cooked foods, a variety wholegrain carbohydrates (but limited amounts – not daily), fruit and veg – organic where possible.
Sugar and oil is very limited, as they are what caused the clay cravings for me. In-fact I only have naturally occurring sugars in fruits etc – which don’t cause the clay cravings. I also tend to buy raw cakes and vegan cakes where processed sugar is not used.
I only drink water and plain herbal teas, occasionally I would drink fruit juice (not from concentrate).
Due to fasting I have a deeper appreciation for food and the body which the Lord has given to me. I want to treat the holy temple right – how God intended.
Thank you Jesus, for allowing me to go through, conquer, and share my experience and victory with others. I pray that this will help someone who is struggling with the clay addiction.
Well Done, Sis!!! There's nothing Our Lord Jesus Cannot do!!!! I will praying He answers my prayers and Blesses me with that 'daughter of mine'.... Sooooon!! Amen !:-)

WOW!! What an inspiration!! Was the 7 day water fast difficult and did you lose any weight?? If so how much?? Also did you see any improvement in your skin??
Hi Dirt Lover, The first couple of days were ok but on the fourth day I was extremely tired and my calf muscles felt heavy - my mom being a nurse checked my blood pressure and it was really low so I had some herbal tea with some honey. That really boosted my energy levels and I went on fine just drinking water until the 7 days. I thought about food a lot especially simple fruit and veges - just raw. It's funny, I did not crave clay or think about eating any at all during the fast. When I did try to think about it I only thought negatively like 'I really don't want it any more, or , why did I even eat it'. It just didn't appeal to me at all on the fast and hasen't since either. I did loose weight. I didn't notice at first until someone said so. As my only reason for fasting was to stop the clay addiction. The weight loss was an added bonus. I went down to 6 1/2 stones I was about 8 1/2 I think. But now I've put on about a stone so I'm 7 1/2 - 8 stone max. This is perfect for my height 4ft 10.(anything over 8 1/2 stone is overweight and under 6 1/2 is underweight so I'm just in the middle. Eating less cooked foods and more raw helps with keeping my weight on track. I have seen some improvement in my skin, it is still clearing though. If I had fasted for longer there would have been more improvement. By eating more raw fruit and veg I should see better results. I wish I hadn't eaten that DE because that's what gave me the spots. I do want to fast again later on in the year or early next year, just to give my system a good clean and rest. I still have a load of DE and Kaolin in the house just sitting there. So I know I am fully off the stuff. Any one who wants me to send them some just let me know. I might start selling it on e-bay. I would try different clays again but it's like the fasting has just taken away the need to have it. Maybe my body is lacking nothing now like iron and other nutrients, due to good food and giving the body time to rest. Hope this helps.
Take care and God bless
