Hi everyone hope all is well. I'm still on the same box of cornstarch I bought last thursday. Its more than half empty. I didn't freeze it this time but I took the top off & let the cornstarch be open to the air. Each day it gets drier.......awesome taste. Did u know if u put it in a plastic bag it changes the taste....have a great day!

Hi! I've been taking a backseat.. I just update myself on the conversations now and again. But business is doing great thank you. I get so many bulk orders I'm thinking you ladies are going to finish the stock pretty soon! I'm glad people are happy with the clay but I seriously need to look at getting some more ASAP as I'd hate to have to say I'm out of stock..hope you're well.

Thanks for that tip.

I just bought a new box yesterday. Woke up this morning wanting something and was so happy when I remembered the box! Only had two spoons though - it was good but super squeaky, too squeaky, so I'm going to take the top off and see what it does for it. I really loved the adding water to it/freezing/drying out so want to compare to how it is if just left open without doing anything else.

Tell me, what type cornstarch do you like? I eat Argo in the box.

Trying to resist the DE and haven't had any today (yet).

I do a fair bit of travelling, and have tried various types that I come across - Clabber Girl and Brown & Polson are some types along with various store own brands.

I like Argo best, the type in the box (I can eat the type in the plastic container but not really to my liking). I am eating some right now!(Have had the package open all day to dry out).

All things clay I found argo in the box at an international food market. I liked it a lot. I can tell the difference from box to plastic. I've never heard of Brown & Polson. I'm about to finish off my box now.

mzlibra, hi - I bought that Brown & Polson when I was travelling in Europe. I suppose it's made out there somewhere, so maybe not sold in the US? Really good, similar to Argo in the box - maybe even better.

Re. the Argo in the box - I remember I got a scare when I started reading online that they weren't making it in the box anymore but they never stopped selling it here.

Love cornstarch, but I'm able to control it better than I used to before and so happy about that. This box will probably last me a week, which I don't think is too bad (although I know that stuff can't be good for us).

Currently on Iron supplements and found it is really helping with my craving for Clay...!
Since I have been on it, the urge to throw a piece of clay in my mouth is no longer compelling, so fingers crossed...,!
Also met a lady whose addiction to Clay is a lot worse than me and she has had 3 kids despite her addiction.....
Well still waiting for my Lead Test Results....:)

Hope your test results good, wish you all the best.

I know how worrying it could be. I worry sometimes, especially when I try a new clay, wondering whether it contains anything harmful. Still doesn't stop me eating it though. I am very careful where I eat, food hygiene etc.(word we use here is scornful) but I'd take clay from wherever I can find it when I don't know who has handled it or if their hands were clean, whether it came from a clean place or what it could possibly be contaminated with. Shows the power of this type addiction (which is what I suppose it is).

Hi all,
I haven’t been on here in I while. But I did say I would try and stop eating the Clay and DE mix and inform you of the results.
It didn’t work. I found I was just going back to eating the same sugary and oily foods that caused the clay cravings. So, eating raw foods and the ‘normal cooked foods’ was not helping my cravings.
Thank the Lord, I found something great and encouraging.
Fasting.
During the Easter holiday I went on a 7 day fast. I only drank water for 7 days – no food at all. I did some research and found out that water fasting allows the body to reset, replenish and heal itself. As it’s not using most of its energy on digestion. After the fast I ate mono meals of one type of fruit. Day 1 after fasting I ate a very small amount of water melon 3 times during the day. Day2 I ate water melon for breakfast and dinner and tomatoes for lunch. Day 3 I ate grapes and tomatoes. I gradually increased the portion sizes. I also began to include more raw fruits and veg. I had simple salad – no dressing – of tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. Then I included more raw foods like olives, nuts, dried fruit, raw crackers, raw bread, raw biscuits. Finally I added vegan cooked foods like sausages, burgers, cheese (dairy free). Whole grain foods, pasta, and different grains like spelt flour, quinoa, millet, bulgar wheat etc.
It has now been about 7 weeks after I completed the 7 day fast and praise Jesus, I have not craved or eaten any clay, DE, chalk whatsoever. The Lord has given my body the chance reset itself. I feel like my body has a clean slate. And I’m only putting ‘clean, natural, pure foods’ in it and not ‘dirty foods’ to dirty the ‘clean slate’.
I am now more conscience of what foods I put in my body. I have replaced a lot of food.
Before fast: dairy chocolate, crisps, cooked foods, processed carbohydrates, fruit, veg,
After fast: raw chocolate, raw crisps, mainly raw foods, vegan cooked foods, a variety wholegrain carbohydrates (but limited amounts – not daily), fruit and veg – organic where possible.
Sugar and oil is very limited, as they are what caused the clay cravings for me. In-fact I only have naturally occurring sugars in fruits etc – which don’t cause the clay cravings. I also tend to buy raw cakes and vegan cakes where processed sugar is not used.
I only drink water and plain herbal teas, occasionally I would drink fruit juice (not from concentrate).
Due to fasting I have a deeper appreciation for food and the body which the Lord has given to me. I want to treat the holy temple right – how God intended.
Thank you Jesus, for allowing me to go through, conquer, and share my experience and victory with others. I pray that this will help someone who is struggling with the clay addiction.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Gemini

A little give and take goes a long way, so try to be flexible and malleable when dealing with others. It will also pay to ask people what they think rather than to make sweeping assumptions on their behalf, because you could be in for a surprise. A child may have some interesting information for you, or they could make a statement that really sets you thinking.
