I'm glad to see they are trying to keep this run going by getting organized. Last year was a joke and had people going in every direction throughout Meigs County. Good luck this year and please be careful.

I really don't know much about this bike run! I heard there was a fee to join into the run? Now what do they do with the fee money?

They supposedly give it to 2 schools, yet there are 3 high schools in the county yet they only give it to 2, (actually never once heard it going to either schools) probably going in their pockets..

The only problem I have is a lot of the riders are under the influence when they do the ride. What kind of statement is that making. I know this for a fact because I'm in public service and have been in the calls when they crash. Be safe.

The money goes to kids in Meigs county that might not have a Xmas otherwise I was a member of this club years ago it's a good club and we should be proud of a local club that can make such a big event come together there r ppl from all over the place that come to ride on this run last couple of years have been a little ruff but I hear they r going back to the old route so it should be fun and even if u don't ride please come down n help support them u never know one day they might have to help ur child have xmas presence

It is going back to the old route which in my opinion sucks because some parts of the road are to narrow plus there is always someone that wrecks on the run and they also take off to lakeview when they hit 143 so now you got people bitching because these bikers go there to spend there money instead of coming back to pomeroy but I guess that's what you get when you lead them that way just to make a few people happy about going pass the damn cemetery

I hope you don't even show up Loner, it sounds like you have no respect for anybody but yourself. To pay tribute to fallen brothers and sisters means alot to most people. One day when your in one of those graves maybe nobody will care about you. So sad.......Just go ask all the children that benefit from this run and ask their opinion. I be willing to bet they love seeing all the motorcyclist out there making money to put smiles on their faces.

I can give a rats ass about someone coming past my grave. We always travel that way and someone always ends up wrecking or losing their life. Which is more important celebrating life or losing one or more every year due to the route conditions. People get so wasted that the roads are so narrow it's dangerous. I think a change would do us all good. Change is only going to make us grow bigger and keep money in meigs county.

I believe with the run coming back to pomeroy parking lot with the vendors and entertainment there that is keeping the money in Meigs County Loner

Well maybe it will but more then likely most people will head towards lakeview because they alway have a good turn out but just maybe the parking lot will be full and hopefully everybody makes it there safe

hey everbody i heard willie nelson was going to be at the parking lot in pomeroy on memorial day bike run so everbody go to the parking lot and ride that day and after the ride willie and the gang yea for meigs county bickers and the other bike club's that got involved thank's

A well known beer supplier was sponsoring the run? Thats like giving candy to a baby. There are a awful lot of bikes parked early in front of the beer joints downtown Pomeroy on this day too. The beer joints are awful full of customers that don't supposely don't drink and drive! This really sets the standards for Pomeroy/Middleport PD to escort a drunk driver! The run is s good thing but, should be watched closer for drunk drivers.
