This could also have a link to hypertetraploid, undifferential cellular activity seen in most cancers. Hmmmmmm.

Now let me see if I got this right, sodium benzoate damages the dna causing cells to malfuntion causing certian illnesses, the phosphoric acid causes the body to not be able to absorb calcium there by making the person drinking it calcium deficient, and the high fructose corn syrup blocks the receptors in the brain that tell you when you are full ( not hungry any more) so you continue to eat and drink then becoming over weight also causing additional health problems like diabetes to name just one. And let's not forget our old friend tooth decay. When was the last time that your dentist told you to cut back or to stop drinking those types of drinks???? Does this stuff benifit you?? No!!! Who wins when you drink your pop?? The medical field ( doctors, because healthy people don't make them any money) dentists, vitamin supplement manufactures, weight loss and weight management companies just to name a few. Are you still thirsty????

Yeah, I am still thirsty, and I drink these kind of sugary drinks a lot. In fact, I drank them MORE often in middle and high school than I do now, and I was UNDERWEIGHT all through those years.

There is an easy solution to all of this: ban sodium benzoate, ban citric acid (there is NO phosphoric acid in drinks, I think this is what you meant), and limit the amount of HFCS that can be put into these drinks.

Frankly, I am drinking birch beer right now that has NO HFCS in it, and it tastes fine to me.

To help you out the next time you are in the store take a look at the label and what is in Dr. Pepper, it is clearly labeled :PHOSPHORIC ACID!! This is just one of the popular drinks that is out there. Maybe if you actually went out of the house once and a while and read some labels it might be, how should we say, enlightening??(P.S. I drink Dr. Pepper, I know what I am talking about!!)
