more truth wrote: The First Amendment refers to religion. These people are trying to get the US to Islam is not a religion. Hungary for example does not recognize Islam as a religion. Germany I think forbids Scientology or does not recognize it as a religion. Muslims would not care less if the people of any country consider Islam a religion or other wise. The fact that USA goes by the first amendment helps a little bit. But Muslims would not be deterred from going to places of their choice even in the absence of such law as evidenced by Muslims presence in Hungary. Muslims are simply brave people who are always ready to travel the world. Our strength is faith. Nothing is greater or heavier in our consideration than God, the Creator of all these.

Most muslims are leading ordinary peaceful lives.
Because muslims say they want to take over governments, Islam could be declared a political party and not a faith at all.

Mawar wrote: <quoted text> In the United States, the religious civil liberties are guaranteed by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution: The first amendment reads ‘ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances’. Islamic people are quite perfectly comfortable with this. But the first amendment is followed closely by ‘separation of church and state’. This is not really the Islamic idea, but in America, it is the best choice for Muslims. Someone somewhere up here said that the law was going to change soon. The question is what could be the replacement for the first amendment? I guess it would read like the national religion being Christian and the country being a protestant-rightist-Christian run by a pope and constantly at war against Islam. Christians have had wars with Muslims. Did they win all the time? Americans just have to think harder. The law, as it stands, will indeed change. And it will change soon, largely due to public concern. Exactly how that new set of values will be written, or otherwise expressed, I dont know. The point is, islam is constantly pushing and pushing. People all over the world are rightly concerned. Its one thing to allow a people/culture to follow their traitions and practices, but its quite another to continually bow to pressure from what can only be described as religious fanatics. I dont know how the law works in the USA, but I assume its the same as in the UK. In the UK, if I go into an establishment - such as a bar, or a cinema - and I misbehave, or cause trouble, I am ejected from the premesis and told never to come back. This simple practice will soon be applied in a broad sense, to islam and islamics. Ok, yes, they will shout. They will complain, they will scream, they will call us islamophobes. They will claim that it goes against their human rights. But when the usual ranting and raving doesnt work, they will simply be ejected from the host country. Let them rant. Let them complain. When the majority of the problem has ben removed, there is likely to be a complete ban on immigration from islamic lands which will logicaly extend to a ban on allowing islamics - regardless of where they hail from. Im sure there will be threat after threat to start with, but after 10 years, when the mosques are no longer receiving state funding and the muslim schools are closed, we will see a better world. When they can no longer spread their poison attitudes and practices, things will improve dramaticaly. Bear in mind, this wont apply to Seikhs, Hindu's,Chinese, etc....only muslims. They are the worst offenders.

No, nothing wrong. There are just similarities, such as: Awlaki was funny and so are you in your posts. Awlaki was stern and so are you also. And Awlaki was Imam and we could call him sheikh, and so I hope you are as good as him. That they called him terrorist was very unfortunate. He wasn't like that. I mean, he never killed anyone, when the one accused him has killed thousands, even millions. No, Awlaki wasn't bad at all. I saw his CD's covering lectures, nashids, and recitations sold on the streets of Makkah.

"Mr Hasan, accused of shooting dead 13 people at the military base, had seen Awlaki preach in Virginia in 2001 and received religious advice from him by email. Awlaki told al-Jazeera after the November 2009 attack: "Nidal Hasan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people. "My support to the operation was because the operation brother Nidal carried out was a courageous one." Anwar al-Aulaqi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anwar_al-Aulaqi

Like I would when commenting a cannibal in a movie. I would say he ate the corpse of his enemy because he was hungry, his enemy raped his wife, the officer accused him of a crime he did not commit, and they called him names he wasn't. When describing this acnnibal, I might call him a hero, and he did all that because he was cornered or put under tremendous circumstances. Awlaki was like that. But the officers pretended like they didn't understand that and they went on murdering. They were out of their mind when doing that. And you fell for them, senseless Trisha.
