truth wrote: <quoted text>You must be a fat ass. Sirloin Stockade for you fatty. Ha! Well, the bad news is that you are not clairvoyant. For dinner we had ground lamb burgers with crumbled feta and blue cheese on ciabatta with fries and cheesecake for dessert. We washed it all down with a bottle of 2007 Big Vine Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. I picked up most of the items from HEB Central Market. I'm certainly not fat but enjoy eating well. One must wonder what can of dead crap you opened for dinner. It was probably the same thing you had for lunch. Say, you must be a real winner.

I do wrote: <quoted text>I go to the Fish fry for their NY strip. To me it's the best steak around. It's also the only place I've found anywhere close to here that can actually cook a steak properly. Well, this reminds me of the fish camps in North Carolina.

You must be a very ..........unique' person! Not as unique as one who alternates between two monikers in a forum using 'lol' & 'truth' to mask the true origin of their attacks. The luddites are really good at this.

But way up here in N.E. Texas we enjoy Prime Angus beef grilled or barbequed with plenty of beans and potatos along with some bread and salad, you know plain jane good. Desert has to be something like apple pie or pecan pie, mabey chocolate cake.Don't forget cobblers of berries or peaches. Wine is fine but liquor is quicker. For good times i would drink cold beer, also i would watch shopping those mexican markets, you sure it ain't goat you ate?

I've had steaks before including typical Texas BBQ cookouts. I prefer a porterhouse steak. One of the best ones I've had in your area was a Paul's Porterhouse there in Dallas. Another great steak house is Del Frisco's in downtown Fort Worth. And one of our favorites is Mister G's at the Hyatt DFW Airport. As for my predilection for wine, all I can say is that I never wake up with a hangover regardless of how much I drink. How do you know you are getting "Prime Angus" beef other than this feature being advertised on the menu or package? Wait, I'm guessing some one who spells the word "maybe" as M-A-B-E-Y will tell me they can just taste the "ANGUS" in each and every bite.

A friend and I went there today and all I can say is "MISTAKE". I spent $30.00 on lunch for a sirloin, a rib eye,tea and a small cup of potatoe soup. The steaks was requested to be med. well, but both came back medium rare. It had a wangy taste. the side were cold and the salads were brownish. When we asked questions about the certain foods the waiteress stated it may be out of a can. She would referred to her boss as "she" instead of "we". I looked at it as she the waitress not wanting association witht the place. Poor food, poor service, cold building, nice atmosphere. Will not return
