Alejandro Ramirez was 15 when he crossed the U.S.-Mexico border to work alongside his father and brother in California's strawberry fields.He spent 12 years toiling for a large grower, living with his wife and child in a garage, learning everything from pulling weeds to planting to driving a tractor.

He qualified for the 1986 amnesty and now employs 85. I'm sure he's paying them top wages, taking care of the medical needs and submitting ss and medicare to the treasury too?

With a piece of the $2.3 billion strawberry industry pie he probably pays and provides benefits just as good as any other company trying to save a nickel and dime. The American Dream truly came true for this man.

What is so surprising about the fact that by cheating the system and stealing from American tax payers he has gotten ahead and now exploits his fellow illegal aliens? That is after all the illegal alien dream.
