Milk has only one reason for being produced, and thats for the mother to produce milk for her babie/babies.

Yes there are some free range dairy farms, but this mean the farmer looses profit so its a rareity for people to bother caring, it also means less milk and higher prices, people don`t tend to think about welfare, but care about cheap offers in supermarkets, none the less milk is still not designed for human consumtion.
Even if there was free range dairy farms, they still have to take away the mothers calf.
After the calf in taken away, there are 2 options for male calfs, intently killed, are caged for less than a few months to be killed for veal, the female calfs are cages in small spaces and fed solids, because of the calf having no milk from it`s mother within 24hours the likely hood of the calf living to adult hood to be a dairy cow is extremly slim, but with even cow giving birth to more than one calf a year this doesnt effect the farmers profit in number of dairy cows so they don`t care if they loose many calfs.
This is why i don`t eat or drink anything with dairy or animal meat products in and a only eat free free range meat from mature animals that are atleast over a year old, this means the animal has a longer, more free life and is killed in the most fast and painfree possible way, it`s just upsetting farmers don`t all convert because then crulety would be a thing of the past and all people would know of it free range there for no cheaper meat products to choose from, its free range or be vegan in my books, i only eat meat 3 time a month because im loosing intrest in the flavour, also no dairy in my diet has made me feel more healthy.
