As an Iranian i have no boubt that my country's dictators have a hand in these killings because they send iran's money to these arab terrorists (instead of helping iranians with their daily grocery bills and gas prices). US is also at fault for doing nothing against spread of islamism in the world.

You're correct, Jack.
I think President Bush's last act of Middle East mayhem is going to be the attempted overthrow of the government of Syria.
Look at all the problems and pressures facing Syria at the moment; ongoing civil wars and/or wars of foreign occupation in three of its neighbors (Iraq, Palestine & Lebanon), an Iraqi refugee population in the millions, an economic boycott pushed through the UNSC by the US and Israel (with help from some the Saudis and european governments), continual violations of its territory and airspace by Israeli and US forces, the difficulty of maintaining a tolerant and progressive secular society in the midst of a region being torn by fundamentalist sectarian movements which are easily manipulated by wealthier powers including the US/Israel, Iran (you know you are in trouble when your most reliable ally is Iran) and the Saudis. The US - even in its current the weak, degraded condition - could bring the same hell to Syria that it brought to Iraq without even the necessity of an invasion by US ground troops.
The US media also does an excellent job keeping the American public ignorant and misinformed regarding Syria, and that is a pretty favorable condition for launching some sort of inperialistic attack under false pretexts.
It would also be quite easy for the US to introduce policies that would help Syria and, in turn, all of its neighbors (in the long run) while benefitting the US as well, but of xcourse Bush won't do anything to help. I just hope President Asad can hold strong until there is better leadership in this country.

Whenever violence is in their favor they (US administration) say it is democtaric movement against a dictatorship. Whenever it is against their interests they attribute it to foreign forces such as Iran and Syria. When they interfere and send forces to Iraq it is to restore democracy. Shame on you Rice, Bush, Chenny and all their allies!!!

Iranian rullers are not good and do not deserve to be in power but worse than them is the US/Israeili adminsitration and their ongoing hostility with the Iranian nation. They want to push their own agenda by distorting facts. i think that the bush administration should think before they talk. the only county that is making the ongoing violence in lebanon is AMERICA!! they are the ones that are interfering with the middle east and hezbolla have the right to defend their right to their country.

An intelligent, no nonsense woman with interest in Lebanon/Palestine. It's really dismal around here, so look around, but dont waste your time.

Syria and Iran are willing to murder their "brothers" to gain power....no question now. Up to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and any Arab country calling itself civilized to make a choice-terrorism under the guise of religion or a nation of laws.
It is always the same -when these thugs and extremists are confronted with opposition instead of blind obdedience they always resort to violence. Hamas took Gaza at gunpoint rather than work for statehood. Hizbollah wants to topple Lebanon and take it hostage under sharia law. The bloodshed is due to the Jihadists, "princes" clerics, ayatollahs and everyone trying to lay the problems of donkeycart Arab lands at the feet of Israel. But Muslims need to get their heads off the ground and look at what the the "holymen" advocate. Murder, intolerance, blind hatred, backward rules, abuse of women, suicide and wealth and power remaining in the hands of a few. Any protestors will be silenced. And converts are killed. What a religion.

The only person considered an easier "mark" than an American in Syria and Lebanon is a Saudi or Khaleeji. The problem with you zionist sympathizers is that none of you have any ACTUAL experience with the Arab world beyond Fox News & Rush Limburger. Shit, i mean you even make the 3rd grade error of lumping Iran with the Arabs! IGNORANCE!!! Hold thy tongue!

Shit, i mean you even make the 3rd grade error of lumping Iran with the Arabs! IGNORANCE!!! Hold thy tongue! ------- Read my comment again. I said it is time for them to decide if they are civilized. Forgive me for insulting Iranians...Persians..Aryans... .Nazi lovers....I know it is a low blow to be called "arab" and yet, what do the ayatollahs say when they are calling for fatwahs and jihad?.Don't they appeal to their muslim "brothers????" Funny how that works. You want cheap warriors, but deny blood ties, equality and real assistance to improve the lives of the impoverished masses. Just like Egypt kept Gazans as fighters but not citizens....just as Jordan refused Arafat and the PLO, and the "Brotherhood" making it Israel's problem. As for measuring "civilization" in the Middle East-it is getting to be a lower and lower mark. For now I will take any country that is not basing NATIONAL POLICY on holocaust- denial, fomenting the overthrow of Lebanon, attacking civilians, kidnapping, sponsoring suicide bombers openly calling for the elmination of the State of Israel, urging Jihad against the West and basically trying to spread the beliefs of a backward donkeycart society to the world.
