After health ruling, will US be ready for the law?

Jun 29, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

Now that the Supreme Court has removed the main legal challenge to President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul, policy experts question whether enough U.S. states will be ready to implement the law when it takes full effect in 2014.

It's all over our local news --- Florida can't afford this! We are already in a deficit and there are still few jobs...people are still losing their homes. Maybe we should get a federal bail-out since this is going to make things even worse.

And when people talk about federal funds, we're STILL talking our tax money. That means US...not some fantasy Obama stash somewhere.

In less than 24 hours after the Supreme Court ruled that Obamacare was Constitutional a few new polls have come out that show the law has gained popularity even to the point of being seen as more positive than negative (a first for this law). It was priceless to see the unpatriotic right-wing tea-baggers lose it completely yesterday as all their hopes came crashing down to reality, LOL.

President Obama is too brilliant for these ignorant tea-bagging idiots, LOL.

Florida and Louisiana are not going to set up healthcare exchanges and Virginia looks to do the same. Hopefully more states follow their lead. Americans being Americans and telling an oppressive govt to kiss their ass!!! It's a beautiful thing.

Talking points memo,Ö Itís obvious the justices of the high court do not understand the ramifications of obozocare. A messy ripple effect would be a monumental understatement! We were only hoping the high court would trash the POS so President Romney can focus on righting the ship. As the democratic party cruiseship lists from taking on water; the condition of the vessel appears to be worsening as more scandals unravel from obozos regime. Tinkering with obozos failed policies at this point would be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic as it sinks into the ocean. The real story here is the point made about the Americans who need jobs. Many have two part time jobs with no benefits at minimum wage will pay the fine for not having coverage!...and what about the immigrants waiting and going through proper channels that do not deserve to be thrown to the end of the line. Also the timing of this four months before the ejection is suspect. The public sector is doing fine; this asclown will be on a bus back to Chicago along with the first wookie before you know it... I need to know where to get one of those thingamajigs for my furnace? I'll bet George W. Bush feels pretty bad about this...

Attention libelous karl!!! Free? That shows just how stupid you are. If you think obamacare/TAX is going to make things better than they are today in health care for the poor then your head is up moron's cow patty's behind...fool. News for you, the lord marshal b. h. obama has done nothing but fuk up America. He wasted time and money, he imposed ridiculous regulations on individuals and business and now America has a HUGE TAX ahead thanks to obamcare insanity. Look around you at the boarded up homes, streets in ruin, crime, unemployment...all because of your past vote. And your future vote will double the misery index...Nobody spends money or hires when a HUGE TAX is in their future.
Furthermore you libelous ass-wipe, when democRats denied blacks who were living in fear in public housing their right to own a firearm to defend themselves and their families against criminal attack it was the NRA that stepped in and restored in a court of law the rights of people living in fear in public housing. Of course a history illiterate like you would not know that anymore than you would know that following the Civil War the democRat Party denied freed slaves their right to possess firearms. Obviously the only thing hot about you is the libelous hot air coming out your ignorant piehole so GFY.

This whole law is illegal. So,....the "mandate" is illegal,....BUT we'll just call it a tax so it's ok?

That's laughable. It is so stupid it doesn't even make sense.

Look there,....it's a duck,.....I think I'll call it a turtle, so therefore it must be a turtle. Hey, they both live in a lake so therefore a duck must be a turtle.

Ah you there young man, you were going 50 in a 35 zone so I'm not going to fine you,....I'm going to give you a speeding tax.

What a joke. A tax is meant to raise revenue, and a fine is meant to modify or control behavior.

And people should call for Roberts to resign.

Man this country is F'd up.

I hope all of you realize that all of your money is going be seriously devalued in the next 5 years if Obama is left in office and this law is left in place.

The Democrats have essentially torn up the Constitution and lit it on fire in front of our faces, and then laughed about it.

They somehow seem to know every gimmick and parlor trick to circumvent normal governing.

Harry Reid won't even allow a vote in the Senate to come up on our budget! How is that even possible? 3 years in a row and it's never happened before.

We've got total morons in the Democratic Party and they should be jailed for failing their fiduciary obligation to run the country under the law.

Free? Where did you get that ridiculous idea? You make less than $14k a year? Really? Then it might be free. Otherwise you're gonna either be paying a fine / tax or buying a policy. God, people are stupid. Don't make comments if you don't really understand the law and haven't read it.

Attention moron cow patty!!! Brilliant? It took a USSC ruling to tell the lord marshal b. h. obama it was a TAX. That's after the lord marshal swore up and down in many interviews it was not a TAX.
Your poll is a bounce off the ruling's face value. Once the word TAX sinks in, the American people will view it all through their wallets along with the rest of the pathetic economy and vote accordingly. Now run along peewee and GFY.

It won't be so bad for the Blue States The Blue States residents are very comfortable with a big bro, big govt Cuban or North Korea style existence for their families. In the Blue States, any decline in quality or availability of Health Care services will be accepted as plenty good enough for their families.

"Rick Scott's background offered dirt aplenty. His record as founder and former CEO of Columbia/HCA, a massive hospital chain, and founder of Solantic, another chain of health clinics, dogged him throughout the race. So in case you're just tuning in to the Sink-Scott showdown, here's a look back at Scott's controversial track record.

$1.7 Billion. That's how much the federal government fined Columbia/HCA for Medicare and Medicaid fraud that took place under Rick Scott's watch as CEO. That sum, which ultimately led to Scott's ouster, set a record for the largest fine of its kind in history.

...Scott spent $5 million of his own money to start Conservatives for Patients' Rights, an organization aimed at defeating Democrats' health care reform legislation. "

Rick Scott 35% approval rating as Gov of Florida

Smut Romney 34% approval rating as Gov of Massachusetts

Rick Scott may not bother providing nearly 1 million Floridians with health care at virtually no cost to the State.
