Well...I hope not. Are you a raging thug now? If not, then you probably won't be one on Chantix. Here's the way it was for me: other than when I was pregnant, I've never felt better in my life than on Chantix! And that's a fact.
Funny Trish, I felt the best I ever felt when I was pregnant too. The first 6 weeks I was soooo tired, but after that, I felt great!

Hahahhaha. yes, THAT IS what it sounds like around here sometimes. I'm pretty sure your face is safe, however it might get nasty enough to burn your eyeballs out! Kidding. sorta ;)

Oh me too. I don't want anymore kids but I often jokingly tell my husband I want to be a surrogate.(Only secretly- if someone asked I probably would do it)

One Talent

I have no voice for singing, I cannot make a speech.
I have no gift for music, I know I cannot teach.
I am no good at leading, I cannot organize.
And anything I’d write would never win a prize.

But at roll call in the meetings, I always answer here.
When others are performing, I lend a listening ear.
After the programs over, I praise it’s every part.
My words are not to flatter, I meant them from my heart.

It seems my only talent is neither big nor rare.
Just to listen and encourage and to fill a vacant chair.
But all the gifted people, could not brightly shine
Were it not for those who use a talent such as mine.

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Chantix) http://en.pharm4all.com/champix-starter-pack,... I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

Call your doctor about this - I would think it might be a good idea to ease back into the Chantix. Also when you believe you no longer need the Chantix & have quit smoking read up on these threads & wean off Chantix as several have recommended.

Ask your doctor. I would think that the best advice is to go back to a starting dose & then the regular dose as the instruction advise. How long ago did you take it? For how long? Did you have side effects taking it the first time & that is the reason you quit taking it? Chantix was the answer for many but others have had side effects. Listen to you body. Good luck to you on your quit!

yes they should have given you the starter pack. maybe your Dr. wrote the prescription wrong or the pharmacy just screwed up. either way, if you don't want to bother with getting a new scrip you can turn that pack into the starter pack. here's how:
Days 1,2 & 3: take 1/2 of the pill once a day
days 4,5,6,7: take 1/2 of the pill twice a day
(I took mine around 8am and the second around 3pm to avoid insomnia)
day 8 onward: 2 full pills twice a day
I'm sure you'll get more answers to this but I'm pretty sure that's how the starter pack was.
He means ONE full pill twice a day for day 8 onward.
