Kentuckian in the breach

Simple answer for the Republicans: Do what the Democrats did. Promise a chicken in every pot for every constituency group -- reduced taxes, bail-out of delinquent home mortgages, unionization without secret ballots, more money for failing schools, more rewards for not working, amnesty for illegal (can we still use that word?) aliens; free health care for everyone (don't worry about the long lines), and a big tax rebate even if you don't pay taxes. Oh, and start showing a lot of Americn flags behind your presidential candidate. And then? Deliver nothing. Doesn't matter to Democrats once they get the votes. Old story: Once you fake sincerity, you don't need any other story.

It will get worse unless Obama shifts centralist in which the Obamanites will be highly disappointed.
