Middleport sewer line replacement nearing completion

In less than two weeks, the sewer line replacement work on North Second Street in downtown Middleport will be completed, and while the streets will remain rough for a time yet, the inconvenience of having to take detours and trying to avoid moving heavy equipment will be over.
So dose this mean all the noise at nite at the lower end of paril st will be done too???
Sorry me not possible! Now they have to re-pave the streets. They have to read all manuals on equipment on how to use them. Takes 3 or more days for that. Then after starting they take a 15 min break every 20 minutes of work. No lunch, have to re-train them if they take lunch. Looking at at least 6 to 12 months. Job security. Street Commissioner suggested using sheetrock compound, cheaper and smoother finish! Also will not kill the weeds along the street curb!
All that for us to have tan water with floaties instead of brown. Our water bill hike rates will pay for the work I'm sure.
The less ( http://www.lavendersedm.com/en/sewer_and_wate... ) sewer line repair that needs to be completed, the better. That means that they'll be done sooner!
