I NEVER said that the two involved don't owe huge apologies to their families for pain and suffering. I just happen to think that is the business of the families involved. Maybe it is the public's business that city officials commit crimes, but our amazing country believes in innocent until proven guilty, and the alleged perpetrator has not even been charged-not even charged - by the BCI. They have not charged him. Wow. So just consider not trying and convicting by mob. Consider there are really innocent people being damaged by the gossip, and just because the two caused the pain doesn't mean you should fuel the fire. You a making fun of me. That's fine - go ahead and make fun of me. Yes, I believe getting on topix and "being mean" is just a really shitty way to live your life. If you are so "sick of it" then join me. Maybe it will be liberating to focus on the beauty of your own life instead of gossiping. Yes I am pontificating...sorry. But just because we know how to clone doesn't mean we should, and just because we have social media doesn't mean we should be mean. And witch hunts have never really worked out for any community. If they are clean they can stay if they are constantly impaired or under the influence. They should resign. Believe me, after all of the gossip, accusations, blame and hatred. I agree that city, county, state, and any federal official should be required to pass a drug test. Why shouldn't they? I also feel anyone employed by the same above should be tested. Hell, you have to pass a drug test to work anywhere else. These people should especially be tested as the are in many ways in charge of our money and the quality of our lives.
