Full story: American Reporter

You don't need a permit to carry a handgun, there are no laws against the concealed carrying of firearms, and firearm ownership per capita is high.

0(zero)regonSUX = Oregon Troll Alert makes endless jokes about child molestation. There is even an entire thread devoted to her giggling perversely about the subject.

She is the typical Oregonian.

Nearly 3/4s of SYG victims are unarmed. Typical Republithug thinks that is a fair fight.

Oh, that's right, Trayvon was unarmed and George Zimmerman shot the teenager dead, dead, dead and you applauded.

Wow. I never realized just how cowardly and without character Republithugs truly are.

3/4s of Florida's SYG victims were UNARMED and Republithugs think that is unquestionably acceptable.

Amazing. What a bunch of cowards.

Why are you so in love with killing people and so thrilled that 3/4s of the victims of SYG were unarmed?

That is incredibly creepy. Why are rightwingers so desperate to live in the fictitious wild west?

"Serino's report, however, shows that he believed that unlikely, and that Zimmerman's actions "were inconsistent with those of a person who has stated he was in fear of another subject".

"The physical dimensions of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, coupled with the absence of any specialised training in hand-to-hand combat between either combatant, did not place Zimmerman in an extraordinary or exceptional disadvantage," Serino wrote.

Zimmerman, Serino said, had "exited his vehicle, in spite of his earlier admission to investigators that he was afraid of Martin, and followed Martin in an effort to maintain surveillance of him".

Serino also pointed out that Zimmerman missed at least two opportunities to identify himself to Martin as a neighbourhood watch volunteer or a concerned resident and "defuse the circumstances surrounding their encounter". Instead, the detective noted, the confrontation was "ultimately avoidable" if Zimmerman had identified himself to Martin or stayed in his car.

Another police observation was that "investigation reveals that Martin was in fact running generally in the direction of where he was staying as a guest in the neighbourhood"."

George was a victim of assault, a fact not in dispute. Fear is a part of everyday life especially in a community with crime on the rise. Citizens can remove that fear by standing together against that fear (criminals) instead of running or cowering in fear and letting criminals take over. Neighborhood watches are all over this country and are backed by police who can't be everywhere all the time. The supreme court has ruled the police are not liable for your personal protection, so just who do you think is? The supreme court has also ruled that owning a gun for protection is a personal RIGHT affirming deadly force is also a right.

Interesting that early on he caught him fibbing about being afraid of Martin.

Now that we know about the bond situation, this seems rather in character.

I can imagine that Zimmerman wishes he had stayed in the car that night as well. He could be at home eating pizza and drinking beer with Shellie.
