I'm sure this will wake up those in Kentucky who like or want to commit hate crimes.

I believe that being gay is a choice, not in the D N A of a person.

I think being gay is wrong.

but

Gay's are people too and should be treated like everyone else.

You can't catch "the gay"

well look what the red necks are up to when you leave them alone up on the mountain, what a shame a man damn near comes close to his death all because he was born gay, now i really hope for justice in this case and without doubt this is a hate crime and should never ever have taken place, can't the so called str8 men around the area find sexual satisfaction? well no it's not that, it's power combined with pure hate for gays, look to your local churches that preach the hate against gays and glbt community. this is the same area where the network animal planet had a show on in which profiled a snake handler reported to have been for religious reasons, it takes a village indeed.
everyone should be out spoken over this, it's a sad day in america when one of our very own is attacked for no reason other than his sexual orientation.
i hope all you christian wanna b's are happy that you made national news, now go hate some more, must be some other group you all oppose. you people suck! for the one millionth time, gays are born gay period.

Your opinion is that gays are born gay, My opinion is that they choose to be gay.

That's cool man, everyone has their own opinion.

And yes. I believe that those jenkins boys should have the book thrown at them.

It is wrong to hate a group wether it be gay's blacks' mexican or whatever.

And this is to you QIC. It is wrong to hate a group because of where they live!

Aren't you being a little hippocritical by defending one group, then blasting another group just because they live in the mountains?

I choose to live here. It's not in my DNA!

There's a lot o' good people in these here hills!

Apparently you missed the AMA medical release that came down about a year ago. Since that release; a lot has progressed in Gay Rights around the world
.
From the American Medical Association (AMA) February 19, 2011:
.
Gay people are born with a different brain size and structure with corresponding spinal cord differences to match. These body parts are *not* physically interchangeable with the corresponding body parts of a heterosexual
.
These physical differences have been photographed during autopsy and are visible to the naked eye
.
++++++++++
"Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity are conferred during the first 12 weeks of gestation, and they are irreversible"
++++++++++
.
AMA Webcast to all Licensed Physicians in the United States:
.
If you're at a computer that plays webcasts; check it out (warning: explicit medical photos/runtime 54 min)
http://media01.commpartners.com/AMA/sexual_id...
.
++++++++++
.
In May of 2011; the AMA presented its medical discovery at the 21st Annual Meeting of the European Neurological Society in Lisbon; Portugal
.
There; the AMA discovered the Europeans have been running similar research projects and made the same discovery; that gay people have gay-specific brains connected to gay-specific spinal cords through 6 neurological crossovers; sort of like the crossovers in the computer cable that connects two hard-drives to a single motherboard
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/2269...
.
So proof that gays are *born that way* has now been corroborated across two continents
.
Now all you fine mountain folks know all about it
.
Do tell

You can't confuse me with facts done by experts in the medical field!

That was a joke in case you didn't know.

To be truthful, I honestly do not believe that study! There are too many variables like family history, a much wider group of autopsies on a much wider group of subjects, environmental effects, etc.

To draw that conclusion (that a gay person is just made different) from the few facts that they have is just bad science.

It sounds to me like some one or some group of someones were just trying to justify their beliefs.

That was the same case a few years ago with the american scientist that said that being gay was in the DNA. That was never confirmed, verified or duplicated in any other study. And reputable scientists tried to verify that study.

Turns out that the data was manipulated by a scientist that was gay. His finding were de-bunked and he was "outed" as manipulating the facts.

But people still quote that, even though it was proven FALSE!

And you are still a hippocrit

because

You defend gays as a group, but are still prejudiced against "hillbillies" "cause we are from the mountains.

Sorry, I dont believe your born gay either. I am older and I can indeed remember the day of growing up and only a handful of gay people to living in a world of everybody is gay even the straight!
I will never believe you are born gay!!!! You can throw up statistics all day and I will say it is a choice.

With that said: He was a person and did not deserve to be beat like this NO MATTER WHAT HE DID OR WAS. But those men who beat him were a little on the gay side too. I think it was more than just being gay!

C'mon man. It's against nature to be gay.

In the natural world, a species HAS to mate male to female to survive. It's nature.

there are exception like bacteria that can split in twain on their own without the mating.

And don't even start on the gay penguins in the zoo somewhere. Once the penguins were seperated and placed with females penguins, the gay penguins became straight.

LOL, a prime example of the song "love the one your with"

Even some amphibians, in a same sex group, will change their sex so that they can mate.

It is against nature to be gay!

It doesn't matter though. For whatever reason the guy that got beat on was gay.

It shouldn't have happened.

Put the Jenkins boys in jail for life!

Humans are about the only species that goes against nature!

i was not talking smack bout mountain people, you read way to far into the lines there, most all my family are from letcher co, as i was born and lived many years in the mtn's and yes a lot of good people live there still. BUT a lot of close minded fools like you who think they know everything. you suck, and for your info, just because someone is from east ky doesn't mean they couldn't leave family long enuff to proper their education, so stop injecting ignorance into your post. you have internet read up goofy, learn something.stop the anti gay hate.

You called me goofy!!!!!

Thanks buddy. I have to agree with you. I am goofy and I do a LOT of goofy things

Maybe I did read too much into your post, sorry if I did, but I get defensive when I hear the words mountain people and ignorant in the same sentence.

I will never believe that being gay is anything other than a choice. I can accept your belief if you can accept my belief on that matter.

The boy that got beat on was a HUMAN, and no human deserves to be beat on just because someone HATES the way they are.

We can agree on that can't we?

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Capricorn

Don't take any risks when handling your finances today, because there are strange things going on. Someone may not be as straightforward and honest as usual, or can't explain themselves properly, which leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. If you're spending money, make sure you're charged the right price and given the correct change. And don't let your wallet or purse out of your sight, in case you mislay it or someone nabs it.
