We as a nation DO NOT punish the innocent for the crimes of the guilty. Now do we? The child produced by a rape is as much the victim of the rape as the child's mother. The same holds true for the children produced from incest. The child is an innocent victim of his or her fathers crime. For far too long we punished women who were rapped as if they asked or did something to encourage their rapist. We no longer do that however we are still punishing the innocent children for the crimes and/or indiscretions of their parents. Under the 5th and 14th Amendments every person has the RIGHT to LIFE. Under the 14th Amendment every person also has the right to the full protection of the law. Every person's life begins at the moment of conception. Nobody is able to protect the Constitution as long as they are trying to change it without going through the proper channels. In other words no judge or5 politician is authorized to interpret the Constitution. That is because the Constitution is the law of the Land. The LAW by which all o5ther laws are judged. That includes Judge Scalia. As a matter of fact that borders on Treason against the Constitution. That leaves it closed to translation and interpretation. We MUST take the Constitution at face value adding nothing to it and above all not changing it to fit our political agenda or ideals.
